Actual cash income (except compulsory payments, adjusted to the consumer price index) increased by 6.1% per capita in December 2009 compared to the same period in 2008.

In 2009 average monthly income per capita amounted to 32679.9 rubles (32867.2 rubles in 2008).

Population's cash income, registered in the Okrug, accounted for 533392.7 mln. rubles (89.5% of the total income).

One of the basic resources of the most part of economically active population's income is still a salary.

In 2009 the average salary amounted to 39135.4 rubles over the Okrug, and 18795.1 rubles over Russia.

On December 31, 2009, the average monthly pension size amounted to 9453.44 rubles, increased by 35.9% compared to the same period in December 2008.

Ratio between the average monthly salary and average monthly pension over the Okrug is 4.1 times.

Minimum subsistence level per capita in 2009 accounted for 8017 rubles.
