of the municipal entity "Oktyabrsky District " 

Heraldic description and symbolism of the emblem of the municipal entity "Oktyabrsky District" is as follows: "On the purple board is a picture of a woman in the silver clothes, declined to the right and looking directly, bordered with black color, a black drop is above the right palm; greens and azure (dark blue, blue) point  is ended with silver border, having small rafters, a silver sable and a sturgeon are depicted there".

The description of symbolism of the municipal entity "Oktyabrsky District ": 

In the emblem of the municipal entity "Oktyabrsky District "  is a stylized picture of the woman -"Misne" (means "wood woman" in the Khanty) - a symbol of  the "Yugra Land".

On the palm of the woman is a large drop of black color - a symbol of oil - leading branch of district industry.

A sable and a sturgeon are the symbols of rich fauna. 

The entered circle bordered by a gear fragment of the Khanty ornament of red color symbolizes riches and abundance. Red color in heraldry is a symbol of active energy, vital force, health and youth. 

Black color is a color of prudence, wisdom, modesty, honesty and eternal life. 

Purple color of the emblem field is a symbol of advantage, transformation and nobleness. 

Silver color reflects snow-covered spaces. Silver in heraldry also symbolizes purity, wisdom, nobleness, perfection, the world. 

Azure is a symbol of beauty, faultlessness, high aspirations, virtues, a symbol of the clean sky. 

Green color shows nature, rich woods. Green color is also a symbol of abundance, life and revival. 

Natural peculiarities and riches, basic direction of activity of the local population are reflected in the emblem using the language of heraldic symbols.
