The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On March 20 the regional agitation race, devoted to the 65-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will start in Ugra.

The Action will allow the youth to implement their creative potential, to strengthen their patriotic spirit, to expand friendly relations among towns and districts of our region.

The races will be held in the western (Sovetski, Yugosk, Urai), central (Surgut, Nefteyugansk, Pyt-Yakh, Surgutski District) and eastern districts (Nizhnevartovsk, Langepas). Military students of military and patriotic educational institutions, cadets and representatives of scouting forces will participate in the races.

According to the program of the agitation races, in each municipality meetings will be held with the participation of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, youth and delegates of local governments. The program will also include  presentations of military and patriotic clubs and visits to the museums of military glory.

The agitation race will be finished on March 21 in Khanty-Mansiysk with the opening ceremony of the Action “Ugra-Venue of Memory-2010” and concert.
