The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today Governor of Ugra Natalia Komarova participated in ONLINE-conference of Vice Prime Minister Dmitri Kozak concerning the issues of increased tariffs in housing and communal sector.

Before the beginning of the conference, the head of the region discussed the current situation with Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Okrug Government Vyacheslav Novitski, director of the Housing and Communal Sector Development Department Anatoli Chepaikin, director of the Regional Tariff Service Natalia Pavlova and Housing Inspection Andrei Raskovalov, Mayors of the municipalities Alexander Sidorov (Surgut), Boris Khokhryakov (Nizhnevartovsk), Rais Salakhov (Yugorsk), Andrei Bukarinov (Khanty-Mansiysk).

The head of the region said that Ugra is not within the number of constituent entities where payments of the population exceeded the limits, established on the federal level but the differentiation of tariffs  exists in the municipalities. She gave a task to the Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Okrug Government Vyacheslav Novitski to prepare necessary documents for audit of tariffs  correctness and factual payments of the population in the municipalities where payment of separate services exceeded 25 %. Dmitri Kozak said about the necessity of such measures at the conference. In his opinion the municipalities should know clearly how the increased tariffs influenced each inhabitant. The local governments are aimed at carrying out explanatory work among citizens, paying subsidies in time.

Vice Prime Minister put a task to complete working out standards of giving the information by managing companies in the housing and communal sector  about their tariff and investment activities in the short possible time.

Minister of the RF Regional Development Viktor Basargin paid the mayors’ attention  to the reasons of communal services cost increase. Director of the Federal Tariff Service Sergei Novikov told about coming additions to the legislation which will make the activities of communal services transparent and  clear for people.

The meeting, devoted to the problem of communal tariffs and raised by the RF President, will be chaired by Dmitri Kozak every week.

On March 16 the adventurous expedition “Solo Dyun KMAO-Pre-polar Urals” will start in Ugra.

Based on the organizers’ information, this four days’ project is a mass motor trip with elements of orientation by cultural navigation. The route lies across the facilities of historic, cultural or ethnographic value. All of them are located out of traditional tourist trajectories. The expedition will promote to increased interest towards inbound tourism in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra and Pre-Polar Urals.

The prize fund of the competitions winner amounts to 50 ths. rubles.
