The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
The regional project
“International IT Forum” was granted the aegis of the Russian
Federation Commission for UNESCO which highly assessed the
contribution of the Ugra Government into the development of
information resources.
The message was addressed to
Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government for Education, Science and
External Relations Alexei Mayorov. It is stated in the document that
regional and international conferences and events had been highly
assessed by the Commission many times. “We are convinced that the
project “International IT-Forum” will expand and strengthen
cooperation in the sphere of IT and also will promote to the
development of UNESCO priority program “Information for All”, -
emphasized Secretary of the Commission Grigory Ordzhonikidze.
The aegis of the organization
is a measure, aimed at popularization of a separate event which is in
compliance with priorities of UNESCO activities.

Today in Khanty-Mansiysk it was
opened in Khanty-Mansiysk the Second International Gas and Chemical
Forum (ICCG), organized by the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug
Government and research journal “Gazokhimiya”. The Partner General of
the event – state corporation “Metaprocess”.
Governor of Ugra Natalia
Komarova who is today on business trip together with Vice
Prime-Minister of the RF Government Igor Sechin in Nizhnevartovsk, in
her welcoming remarks to the Forum participants noted that at present
the key avenues of economic development are modernization, application
of the most advanced environmentally and energetically effective
technologies.
“The goals are to increase the
production output with high value-added cost. In this regard it is
necessary to pay attention to involving unused raw resources to the
economy”, - said the head of the region.
Governor also paid attention of
the Forum participants that in the Address to the Federal Assembly
President of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev said that
“associate petroleum gas flaring was an example of ineffective use of
energy resources when the environment is polluted and tens billons of
rubles are wasted”. In this regard for the Autonomous Okrug with its
powerful resources potential the processing of associate petroleum gas
was a priority problem. Natalia Komarova expressed confidence that the
Forum participants would be able to work out and propose effective
solutions which would result in the implementation of concrete
investment projects in this sphere. “Projects in the sphere of
associate petroleum gas usage should be aimed at innovation
technologies, application of the most advanced equipment, provide a
sensible social and economic effect”, - said Natalia Komarova.
172 people participate in the
Second International Gas and Chemical Forum (ICCG-2010): foreign
guests, representatives of the Russian Federation constituent
entities. 47 central and regional mass media publish information about
the Forum.

The
Ugra delegation participates in the IV Saint Petersburg Partnerships
“Saint Petersburg – regions of Russia and foreign countries.
Interregional cooperation of small and middle business”.
24 delegations of the Russian
Federation regional governments, from the CIS and foreign countries
have arrived at the Forum. Committees for External Relations,
Information Resources and also representative agency of Ugra in
St.Petersburg participate from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
The exposition of Ugra which got
acquainted the Partnerships participants with the projects in IT,
interested many visitors. Director of the Industry and Infrastructure
Department of the Russian Federation Government Administration Maxim
Sokolov thanked the leaders of the Okrug for the achieved success and
expressed hope for further cooperation, The Ugra division of the
exhibition was highly assessed by representatives of potential
partners from the Northern capital – Vice-President of the
Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union Mikhail Lobin and president of
the town chamber of industry and commerce Vladimir Katenev.

The ceremony of the first welded
joint on the oil pipeline “Pur-Pe - Samotlor” was finished. This
events gives the start to one of the stages of the Russian
mega-project of the 21 century.
The oil pipeline “Pur-Pe -
Samotlor” will link the existing the pipeline system with the new
pipeline “East Siberia – Pacific Ocean” and will open new perspective
eastern routes for the “northern” oil. Oil and gas companies of Yamal,
Krasnoyarsk Krai, Ugra will get an opportunity to establish deliveries
to the west, east to the market of the Asian – Pacific region.
“The project of such a large
scale is aimed at overcoming a new stage in solving environmental and
innovational problems. Its advantages are the use of world experience
and advanced approaches to the development of the Russian North. The
first welded joint at this pipeline is our “autograph” in the Annuals
of Russia’s geopolitical breakthrough to the East”, - said Governor of
Ugra Natalia Komarova at the ceremony.
Vice Prime Minister of the RF
Government who is in charge of fuel and energy sector Igor Sechin said
that the project was aimed at solving important economic problems. In
his opinion while the construction and development of the pipeline
system facilities there should be made decision about their safe
exploitation what would produce a minimal effect on environment. Igor
Sechin congratulated the head of the company “Transneft” upon this
important event and expressed confidence that the project would be
finished in time.
Plenipotentiary representative
of Russia’s President in the Urals Federal District Nikolai
Vinnichenko, Governor of Yamal Dmitri Kobylkin as the pipeline starts
in Yamal, other representatives of the fuel and energy sector,
participated in the ceremony.

Today while the business trip in
Nizhnevartovsk Vice Prime Minister of the RF Government Igor Sechin,
Plenipotentiary representative of Russia’s President in the Urals
Federal District Nikolai Vinnichenko, Governor of Ugra Natalia
Komarova and President of the JSC “Transneft” Nikolai Tokarev get
acquainted with organizing of the production process on the fields of
he JSC “TNK-BP”. In their trip they are accompanied by the executive
director of the “TNK-BP” German Khan who informs the officials about
the fields development, tells about new technologies, applied in
drilling, innovational methods to reduce environmental risks.
The process of associate
petroleum gas processing will be demonstrated at the Belozerny
gas-processing plant and its productivity is 4.280 billion cubic m/per
year.
In the second half of the day
the delegation will participate in the ceremony of the first welded
joint on the oil pipeline “Pur-Pe - Samotlor” which will take place 60
km far from Nizhnevartovsk.
