Governor of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug informs:
Governor of Ugra Alexander
Filipenko had a meeting with Chairperson of the Autonomous Okrug
Public Chamber Vladimir Denisov and member of the Chamber
Lyubov Chistova.
The head of the region thanked
them for their joint fruitful work, active position in the formation
of the civil society’s fundamentals and support of public associations
in Ugra. In his opinion, the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug-Ugrais one of the most influential and active in
Russia. The members of the Chamber in practice know the problems of
Ugra people, often visit the municipalities, submit interest of
current interest to the meetings concerning interests of thousands of
Ugra people. The Governor’s Administration and Okrug Government have
always respected the decisions of the Public Chamber.
Representatives of the Public
Chamber expressed their gratitude to Governor for multilateral support
in the work and awarded his with the Certificate of Merit.

The Division of Internal Affairs
of the Khanty-MansiyskAutonomous Okrug celebrated its 35-th
anniversary. Governor Alexander Filipenkocongratulated employees of
the Ugra militia upon this date and participated in the gala meeting.
He said that much had been done.
High professionals do their duty daily. Due to their efforts people of
towns and villages feel themselves protected. For the last decade the
level of criminality has been decreasing and the trust towards the
law-enforcement bodies has been increasing.
“I am convinced that employees
of the Autonomous Okrug Division of Internal Affairs cam solve any
state tasks they are responsible for. Enthusiasm, honest attitude to
their duties, modernization of the activities will give a powerful
impulse in further development, will become a starting-point for new
deeds”, - said Alexander Filipenko.

Ekaterina Ilyukhina won a silver
Olympic medal in parallel gigantic slalom at the Olympic Games in
Vancouver.
On February 26 in Cypress
Mountain the Olympic Women’s competitions finished in parallel
gigantic slalom. The Russian athlete Ekaterina Ilyukhina for the first
time in the Russian sport history won a silver Olympic medal in
snow-board and outplayed Michel Gordon (USA), AmeliKober (Germany),
MaryonKrayner (Austria). Only a Dutch athlete was ahead.
An Austrian athlete won a bronze
medal.
The combined team of Russia won
the first medal in snow-board in its history! We congratulate Katya
and are proud that aUgra sportswoman could bring a medal to Russia!

Governor of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug informs:
The participants of the first
round “Tochkarosta” are coming to the finish. The participants of the
qualifying round of the Ugra Second Cup for Business Management
“Tochkarosta” made the last decisions.
While five weeks over 100
teams-participants of the competition “Tochkarosta” excised in the
management by their virtual companies on the background of the world
financial crisis. Due to that managers of Ugra got unique experience
of making business not just under the circumstances of competitions
but also in circumstances of production decline, consumption deficit
and other crisis phenomena.
At present experts –organizers
of the “Tochkarosta” competition are finishing the analysis of the
last task while the first qualifying round. In accordance with its
results 64 teams with the highest prices for shares will participate
in the second qualifying round and will continue their competition for
the right to play in the finals.
This year the winner of the
competition “Tochkarosta” will participate in the finals of the
analogous Russian competition for strategic management – Global
Management Challenge. The international finals of this biggest
competition of managers will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk this May.
