The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On February 17 in Moscow it was finished the international open chess festival “AEROFLOT OPEN 2010”.

A member of the Okrug combined team, International grand-master Alexei Pridorozhny(Surgut) drew with Sergei Pavlov, an international grand-master  from the Ukraine, in the last  round of the tournament “A2”. Alexei head the tournament table with the result 6,5 scores from 9.

Nikolai Kabanov, an International grand-master from Surgut, won a Russian international grand-master EvgeniShaposhnikov in the last round with the result 6 scores from 9 and ranked 11-th.

Based on the information from the Chess Internet-center, on February 18, 2010, the sportsmen will participate in the two rounds’ blitz-tournament which has the status of the  qualifying tournament for the Blitz World Championships. The finale will be held in Moscow in November of 2010.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of UgraAlexander Filipenko and President of the Khanty-Mansiysk Bank Dmitri Mizgulin signed the agreement on intentions.

The document determines mutual intentions of the Autonomous Okrug Government and JSC “Khanty-Mansiysk Bank” to promote to further implementation of the project in Ugra aimed at improving the system of social services quality, rendered to the population “Social and payment card of Ugra”.   The Bank is considered one of potential partners for the project implementation. To coordinate the interaction the Parties appointed the responsible persons: on behalf of the Okrug Government – First Deputy Chairman of the Government Natalia Zapadnova and on behalf of the Khanty-Mansiysk bank – First Deputy President, Chairman of the Bank Board Alexander Smirnov.

The present Agreement will determine general intentions of the Parties. The implementation of concrete events under the project will be based on separate agreements according to the results of the preliminary contests in compliance with the norms of the federal legislation.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

At the meeting of the Road Builders’ Intergovernmental Council Group in Khanty-Mansiysk it was approved the proposal of Ugra about the prolongation of the road-transport corridor which comes across the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Petropavlovsk (Kazakhstan) – Tyumen – Surgut – NovyUrengoi-Nadym-Salekhard and its inclusion into the network of the CIS international highways.

The final protocol says about its importance for the development of economy of CIS and transport exchange with the Russian North which remains the key energy region of Russia. Now the leaders of Ugra, Yamal, Tyumen Region and Rosavtodor jointly with partners from Kazakhstan will have to solve problems, connected with the development of this transport route.

Representatives of road services from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Russian Federation considered also issues of the implementation of the international road-transport project   West China-West Kazakhstan-West Europe, implementation of the protocol about international roads of the CIS and their development near the borders of neighboring states and about intellectual transport systems on roads.
