The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra
and JSC “Slavneft” concluded a framework agreement on cooperation for
2010-2012. The document was signed by Governor of Ugra Alexander
Filipenko and President of the “Slavneft” Yuri Sukhanov.
The signed agreement states priority principles and
forms of interaction of the Parties in economic, financial –
budgetary, environmental and social spheres. The key goal of this
basic document is further development of partner relations between the
Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra and JSC
“Slavneft” on a long-term and stable basis. The agreement is concluded
for three years in case of the Parties’ mutual consent.
Alexander Filipenko and Yuri Sukhanov concluded an
additional agreement which states concrete parameters of cooperation
this year. In compliance with it, the company intends to invest over
28 billion rubles to the development of production in the region in
2010. The volume of taxes of the company and its daughter companies to
the consolidated budget of the Autonomous Okrug will amount to 5,4
billion rubles. Over 1 billion rubles will be given to finance
environmental events in the region.
The company “Slavneft” plans to spend over 920 million
rubles to implement social projects and programs, addressed to
employees and their families, to support veterans of the company,
voluntary medical insurance of the staff, payments to the non-state
pension foundation, to undertake other obligations in the frames
of the collective agreements. The volume of social investments by the
enterprise “Slavneft” to the region’s development will amount to 100
million rubles – this money will be spent to support children’s
educational and sports facilities, art groups, NGO, indigenous
people’s communities, disable peoples, veterans of the war, different
charity actions and projects. Besides, the “Slavneft” is expected to
be a sponsor of the Biathlon World Cup and World Chess Olympiad to be
held in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Having concluded a new agreement on cooperation, to
Governor of the Autonomous Okrug and President of the company
“Slavneft” again confirmed their advocacy to the principles of social
partnerships and readiness for the unity of efforts to solve social
and economic goals, faced by the society.

Today in Khanty-Mansiysk it was held a working meeting
of the Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko and deputy of the RF
State Duma, candidate for the position of the Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug Governor Natalia Komarova.
They discussed issues of the Okrug economic
development. The head of the region told about basic target-oriented
socially significant programs and their implementation, about
investment projects, having been implemented in the region “Polar
quartz”, construction of the Nyagan GRES, development of small
electric power engineering, salvaging and processing of associated
petroleum gas, deep processing of timber and etc. Governor told about
the mega-project “Ural Industrial – Ural Polar”, which had been
initiated by Alexander Filipenko. The interlocutors told about the
preparation for the Biathlon World Cup Final, World Chess Olympiad to
be held in Khanty-Mansiysk in 2010 and Biathlon World Championships in
2011.
The interlocutors discussed current issues of the
executive authorities activities, possible structural changes in the
Ugra Government.
