The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On Monday in Khanty-Mansiysk at midday it will be held a special  session of the Autonomous Okrug Duma. The deputies will consider the nominee  NataliaKomarova, proposed for the position of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Governor by President of Russian Dmitri Medvedev on Monday.

Natalia VladimirovnaKomarova was born in 1955, the head of the RF State Duma Committee for Nature Resources, Nature Management and Ecology. Since 1980 she lived and worked in NovyUrengoi in Yamal, worked as Mayor  of the town, then was appointed First Deputy Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and later was elected a deputy of the RF State Duma of three convocations. Its candidacy was proposed to President by the All-Russia political party “United Russia”.

The powers of Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko will expire on February 24, 2010.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko had a phone talk with deputy of the RF State Duma Natalia Komarova.  As it was announced before,  President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev proposed the Autonomous Okrug Duma to consider her candidacy for the position of the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra.The Duma meeting will be held on Monday on February 15.

The interlocutors had necessary consultations about the agreed actions on the eve of the meeting and further steps to be undertaken to create the atmosphere of stability in the process of the handover of power. On Friday Natalia Komarova will arrive at Khanty-Mansiysk.

The inauguration ceremony will take place on March 01.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko had today a meeting with the Acting Director General of the JSC “Oil company “Aki-Otyr” YaroslavProskurnik and Vice-President of the JSC Oil company “Russneft” Yuri Kopanev. They discussed issues, connected with the production activities of the companies in the Autonomous Okrug and further development of social partnerships.

In the second half of the day Alexander Filipenko will participate in the ceremony of launching the first turn of the gas-gas pump power electric station at the Nizhne-Shapsha oil field. The project has been implemented in the frames of the memorandum. Signed in 2008 by the companies JSC “Monolit”, JSC Oil company “Russneft” and oil company “Salym Petroleum Development N.V.” about the creation of the complex on associated petroleum gas salvaging and generating facilities. Its putting into operation will fully cover demand in electric energy of the daughter company JSC Oil company “Russneft” - JSC “Oil company “Aki-Otyr” at the Shapsha group of oil fields and the rational use of associated  petroleum gas  will reduce emissions of pollutants into atmosphere.
