The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The team of KVN (Club of Merry and Sharp-Witted Young People) “Kefir” from Nyagan is a candidate for the Supreme League of the International Union of the KVN.

The Ugra team achieved such results due to success at the annual festival “Kivin” to be finished on Monday in Sochi.

To get a permit for the participation in the Supreme League the team “Kefir” should win in spectators’ voting. It will be announced on the channel “Pervy” while the program “Kivin” from Sochi is broadcast.

If the team “Kefir” joins the Supreme League, it will become the second team of the Autonomous Okrug which managed to do that. The team “Ugra” was the first which represented the region in the KVN.

This year over 600 teams from all over Russia came to Sochi, CIS and foreign countries. The festival consisted of two rounds and TV gala-concert. The Nyagan team had to compete with such teams as “Triod and Diod”, “SOC”, combined team of the Krasnodar Krai and other serious competitors. The members of the “Kefir” team are confident  that people of Ugra will take an active part in SMS voting and support their team.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

“The Government of Ugra has always closely cooperated with energy sector. We have been initiators of various programs many times and participated in all projects, assigning a high level of priority to them. The development of electric energy industry helps our neighbors in the Middle Urals, eastern and northern borders of the region”, - said Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko today at the meeting with Chairman of the Board of the JSC “Federal network company of the United Energy System” Oleg Budargin.

Governor emphasized that Ugra is one of the key territories of Russia which are possessed of great electric power generation and its consumption.

In the frames of the meeting the interlocutors signed the agreement on cooperation in the development of the United national ((All-Russia) electric network. The document states that interaction will promote to increase of efficiency of functioning and reliability of electric networks and facilities in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, creation of favorable conditions and pre-conditions to attract investments into improvement of electric energy industry.

Oleg Budargin said that Ugra – one of the first regions whose approach in this work was serious and integrated.  He expressed the readiness to participate in the implementation of the perspective project “Urals Industrial – Ural Polar”.

In compliance with the agreement in the frames of the investment program “Federal network company of the United Energy System” which was formed taking into account social and economic plans of the regional development, the company will construct and reconstruct facilities of the United national electric network in the region, will apply new progressive methods of electric and technical equipment. The list of facilities of new construction and reconstruction is supposed to be formed.

The Government of Ugra undertakes obligations to develop and adopt the schemes of the regional electric energy industry development for five years and to inform the “Federal network company of the United Energy System” about the growth of energy consumption and burden levels in the region.

The Parties will help each other in case of emergency situations and also exchange information concerning social and economic development of the region, coordinate actions for protection of facilities of the United national electric network in the region.
