The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor, Chairman of the Ugra Government Alexander Filipenko received the letter of gratitude from the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Privolzhski and Urals military district General-Lieutenant Vladimir Chirkin. On behalf of the Military Council he expresses gratitude to the head of the region for high personal responsibility, support to the military commissariat of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug in organizing and holding the spring conscription to the Armed Forces of Russia.

While the spring campaign over three thousand young people of Ugra joined the Armed Forces and Fleet. Every tenth person has higher professional education what will make a positive impact on the training.

He expresses sincere gratitude to the head of the region for the participation in the International Congress of UNESCO Chairs on Education for Sustainable Development.

Rector Egorov notes a great contribution of Ugra into providing a high level of this forum hosting in Khanty-Mansiysk, for example, director of the Environment and ecological safety department Sergei Pikunov and Chair of the External Relations Committee Zinaida Sakhautdinova.
