The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko  on September 22 in Yekaterinburg will participate in the meeting of the Council of the Interregional; association of the Russian Federation constituent entities economic interaction “Bolshoi Ural”. Plenipotentiary representative of the Russian Federation President in the Urals Federal District Nikolai Vinnichenko and President of the “Bolshoi Ural” Association, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel will participate in the meeting. The meeting will be held at the Historic Hall of Sevastyanov’s House.

Governors and representatives of the Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Orenburg, Tyumen Regions, governors of Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, Perm Krai will also participate.

The key topics for the discussion will be prospects of social and economic development in the region, experience exchange to overcome consequences and negative impact of financial and economic crisis on the economy of a region, determination of joint actions to implement anti-crisis events and coordinated actions in inter-budgetary relations of the federal center and regions.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The Surgut branch of the Okrug business incubator is preparing for hosting the First Youth contest of business projects “START-UP”.

On September 29 it will be held the preliminary meeting with participants. Competitors will have to pass three stages of the competitions, and then after the defense in public on November 27 the winners will get grants for the implementation of their projects.

Young entrepreneurs up to 30 years are invited to participate in the contest. Individuals as well can submit their application forms for the participation.  Entrepreneurship activities can be registered while holding two stages of the contest. Representatives of key enterprises, experts and scientists in the field of economy, management, information technologies, culture, medicine and education will assess young businessmen.

This contest in Surgut is held for the first time. Co-organizer of the contest is Surgut branch of the Ugra Entrepreneurship Support Foundation in the frames of the implementation of the small and middle entrepreneurship development municipal program in Surgut.
