The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

In spite of the consequences of the world financial crisis which produced impact on the oil and gas industry, the participation of companies in the development of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is continued – Governor, Chairman of the Autonomous Okrug Government Alexander Filipenko  repeated these words on September 11.

Before the awarding ceremony of companies – winners of the contest “Black gold of Ugra” the head of the region held a press-conference for journalists.

Speaking about the implementation of agreements of the Okrug Government and oilmen in social partnerships he assessed them as very successful and expressed confidence that they would even strengthened this year. He emphasized the mutual benefit from such relations:

“The so-called “social partnerships” is not some support for weak municipalities and Ugra in general. In the frames of existing federal and regional laws and rules agreements state mutual support”. Governor said that tax privileges for oil companies amount to 12-18 billion rubles depending on the financial situation; extra revenues into the budget for Ugra people. This year oilmen spend about 2,6 billion rubles for the social development of the region in the agreements frames. Alexander Filipenko is convinced that the final result would be higher as the Government and two corporations had agreed about extra investments in the frames of  agreements.

In Governor’s opinion, successful partnerships is a key feature of the best companies working in the Okrug. To be success in business oilmen should solve not just corporate issues but  share  life of Ugra people. “I pay your attention what President said in the last Message, Speaking about many problems and challenges we face today, he emphasized this aspect: making economic things but forgetting about social components, we shall never solve existing problems and shall never achieve our goals”.

Governor repeated these words in his welcoming speech at the awarding ceremony of the laureates of the contest “Black gold of Ugra”. Social partnerships of oilmen and gasmen with Ugra people have many various forms. The names of nominations prove that where  companies for diplomas  and chief cup.

So, the in the nomination “For social-economic partnerships” among enterprises  with the annual output of oil up to 5 billion tons the winner was JSC “RITEK” (Director General Valeri Graifer) and among companies with the annual output of oil over 5 million tons – JSC “Gazpromneft-Khantos” (Director General Sergei Byshov).

In the nomination “The most dynamically-developing enterprise” with the annual output of oil up to 1 billion tons the winner was JSC “Aki-Otyr”, JSC “RussNeft” (Director General Andrei Zarubin), annual output of oil up to 5 billion tons the winner was JSC “RITEK” again. Among vertically-integrated companies the most dynamic is the British company “Salym Petroleum Development N.B.” (ex-director Garry Brekelmans).

JSC “LUKoil-Zapadnay Sibir’ (Director General – Azat Shamsuarov) got the award for the best cooperation with aboriginals, JSC “Gaspromneft-Khantos” was awarded for effective work with subsoils and cup of the winner.

Governor of Ugra thanked all workers of oil and gas industry of the Autonomous Okrug for great job, wished their families health and prosperity.

On Sunday September 13 at the new ice palace “Arena-Ugra” in Khanty-Mansiysk  the hockey season 2009-2010 of the Higher League was opened.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filpenko congratulated players of the teams “Ugra” (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) and “Gazovik” (Tyumen) and numerous fans who came from different towns and villages of the Autonomous Okrug upon this sports event. He again thanked the hockey club “Ugra” for the victory last season and expressed hope that the title of the Champion will be preserved by the team this year. The head of the region wished players a good game, and to fans – great impressions from each match.

The result of the first match is the score 3:1 in favor of the “Ugra” team. On Monday the second match will take place.

On September 16  another Internet – session of chess will be started.

Based on the information of the Chess Internet-center, the competitions will be held under leaderships of top coaches of Russia. Trainings are made to improve skills of young chess players and preparation of the junior chess combined team of the Okrug for the participation in competitions of various levels.

Master-classes will be held in the form of individual and group classes. The best and weakest aspects of each chess player will be determined. Brief C.V., recommendations and extra tasks are expected to be given to chess players for individual work.
