The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Starting from  September 24 the interregional exhibition-fair of commodity producers “Gifts of Autumn-2009” will be held at the “Ugra-Expo”.

The main sectors of the fair: meat and milk products, fish, vegetables, honey, make up, medicaments, based on honey.

In the frames of the exhibition –fair there will be contests “Best seller” and “Gifts of autumn”. All visitors can taste various dishes, assess tools for gardening, clothes for summer cottage, equipment for hunting and fishing, mini-technique and others.

The exhibition will be finished on September 27.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko discussed avenues of further development of hockey in the Autonomous Okrug with First Deputy Chairman of the Government Natalia Zapadnova, Chair of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sport Viktor Maygurov, President of the Okrug Hockey Federation Alexander Salnikov, Director of the hockey club “Ugra” Boris Novorusov and Director General of the JSC “Mega-Sport” Vyacheslav Zhuravlev.

On September 13-14 the new season starts in the higher league. The hockey club “Ugra” starts it as Champion of Russia. The first games will be with the ambigious club “Gazovik” from Tyumen. The venue – ice of the new Sport Palace “Arena-Ugra”. Its capacity is 5 ths. people.

The hockey club “Ugra” was a success at pre-season matches at the tournaments in Nizhni Tagil, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk. The team does not intend to  give away the cup of Russia’s champion.

This title became a stimulus for active development of hockey in the Autonomous Okrug. There are many amateur hockey clubs, open ice arenas in the region. The hockey club “Ugra” announced about the admission of boys, born in 2000-2005. This kind of winter sport becomes more and more popular.

At the meeting there were discussed issues, connected with the activities of the hockey club “Ugra” and its financing.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko said that for there years the agency has become one of the top Russian mass media with a wide network of offices and branches in Russian regions and abroad. “Today “Interfax” has great authority in international media and business community. Leaders of the biggest companies, famous businessmen and politicians  trust information of this agency. Ugra and Interfax has long friendly relations: the agency has published a specialized news product “Interfax-Novosti Ugry” since 2001.  All  important events in the region are highlighted by reporters of the Interfax”.

Governor expressed confidence that competence, professionalism and high qualification of journalists will let the news agency  remain  the leader among mass media in the future.

The capital of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is ready to host guests of the holiday “Black gold of Ugra”.

It was announced by the members of the Organizing Committee at the last meeting on September 9, chaired by the First Deputy Chairman of the Okrug Government Natalia Zapadnova by the task of the Governor Alexander Filipenko.

The Okrug events, devoted to the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Employees, will be held on Friday on September 11. The holiday will be started from the traditional flower ceremony at the monument “Ugra”. It will be opened by Governor Alexander Filipenko, Chair of the Okrug Duma Vasili Sondykov, deputies of the Okrug Duma, honorary people of Ugra, delegations of the municipalities, representatives of oil companies, processing enterprises.

That day Khanty-Mansiysk will host events, devoted to the professional holiday of people, employed in the chief industry of Ugra economy. The most important events – unveiling honorary “stars” at the memorial “Stars of Ugra”, awarding ceremony with the participation of laureates and winners of the annual contest of professional skills among oil and gas-processing companies and oil-producing companies “Black gold of Ugra”. At the end of the day there will be organized a Gala concert in honor of oilmen of the Autonomous Okrug.

The organizers prepared many surprises to  please  townsmen and participants of the holiday.
