The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Various events, devoted to professional holiday of oil
and gas industry employees, are held in Ugra.
The exhibition “Gennadi Rogozhnikov: dreams and
realities” was opened at the Rogozhnikov field and employees celebrate
the 25-th anniversary from the beginning of the hydrocarbons field.
The hosts of the exhibition are the museum of geology,
oil and gas, trade-unions of the JSC “Surgutnefetegas” and Board
“Bystrinskneft” have the goal – to demonstrate the history of
oil-producing industry on the example of one field – via documents,
photos, letters and personal things of heroes-explorers. One of them
was Gennadi Borisovich Rogozhnikov, a geologist-oilman who is
considered to be an explorer of oil and gas fields in West Siberia.
Special guests of the exhibition – students of the school of the
settlement Leushi. Special tours will be proposed to the museum
employees.
Director of the Museum Olga Solyar said that the
exhibition at the Rogozhnikov field – one of the events in the frames
of the celebration of the Oilman Day this year. The program includes
opening of the photo-exhibition “Heroes of the 60-s”, unveiling of new
“stars” at the “Ugra Stars” memorial, meetings with veterans of oil
and gas companies.
The events with the participation of the best
representatives of Ugra fuel and energy sector companies will be held
in Khanty-Mansiysk on September 11-12.

On
Friday in Tyumen Vice Prime Minister of Russia’s Government Sergei
Sobyanin discussed with governors of the Urals Federal District
approaches to the formation of inter-budgetary relations for
2010-2012.
Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin,
Deputy Minister of Finances Anton Siluanov, Governor of Ugra Alexander
Filipenko, Governors of the Sverdlovsk, Celyabinsk, Kurgan and Tyumen
Regions, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, representatives of
governmental structures participated in the meeting.
Opening the meeting Sergei Sobyanin said that this year
for all constituent entities of the Russian Federation was difficult.
Industrial regions suffered first. In the Urals Federal District
especially the Chelyabinsk and Tyumen Regions, Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug suffered. The decline is 21 % in the Urals Federal
District. It makes regions cut off their revenues. Expenses decreased
by 9 %. The deficit of the federal budget this year and next year will
amount to about three trillion rubles. The structure of expenses will
change.72 % of expenses will be spent to cover the deficit of pension
system, payment of salary for employees of the budgetary sphere and
social obligations. 57 % of the federal budget will be spent for that
this year.
All the governors made speeches about their assessment
of regions’ social and economic development and their vision of a new
model of inter-budgetary relations.

Ugra students can have a training course free of charge
at one of the top Chinese higher educational institutions. Such
opportunities appeared after signing the memorandum on cooperation in
education and science between Ugra and China.
A new document determines opportunities for students
and teachers’ exchanges, topics of joint research projects in ecology
and development of new construction materials. Over 120 children and
teenagers of the Autonomous Okrug will be invited to study at the
Summer International School.
While the participation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug
delegation at the V Trade-Investment Fair of North-East Asia in
Changchung (Tsilin province, China) there have been established
contacts with the Commerce Department of Tsilin Province and Chinese
businessmen.
The Okrug delegation to China was headed by Deputy
Chairman of the Ugra Government for education, science and external
relations Alexei Mayorov.
