The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
Three gold medals were won by
the fishery industry of Ugra at the XI All-Russia exhibition "Golden
autumn-2009".
The most delicious smoked
whitefish (muksun) in Russia is produced by the JSC "Fish plant "Khanty-Mansiyskiy"
and individual entrepreneur Lyubov Kolesnikova (Surgut). The best
filleted oil salmon, filleted salted salmon and smoked trout is
produced by the fish enterprise "Severryba" (Surgut). These products
are awarded with golden medals.
According to the results of the
Ugra commodity producers’ participation in the exposition there were
won 13 medals - five golden, two solver and six bronze medals. Now the
labels of production by winners of golden medals will include emblems
of the "Golden autumn-2009" winners and laureates.
The XI All-Russia exhibition
"Golden autumn-2009" was held in Moscow at the beginning of October.
There were demonstrated products, technical projects, innovational
projects. In the frames of the Ugra exposition the products of the JSC
"Fish plant "Khanty-Mansiysk", fish enterprise "Severryba" (Surgut),
individual entrepreneur Lyubov Kolesnikova (Surgut), agricultural
enterprise "Severnoye" (Surgut) and farm "Bogdashka" (Khanty-Mansiysk
District) have been represented for the contest commission for the
title "The best goods of the Year".

The Okrug Governor’s

Tomorrow the competitions of
athletes in the frames of the XXI All-Russia Championships for
Bodybuilding, Fitness and Body-Fitness (teams, Individual) will start
at the Center of Tennis Sport Development in Khanty-Mansiysk.
The national competitions will
gather about 200 top athletes of our country representing 37 teams at
the okrug center including combined teams of the Regions of Kalinigrad,
Voronezh, Bryansk, Orlov, Yaroslavl, Orenburg, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk,
Moscow, St.Petersburg, Primorski and Krasnoyarski Krai, Tatarstan,
Kazakhstan. The most numerous team - 31 sportsmen - was the combined
team of the Moscow Region.
Experienced sportsmen, for
example, World Absolute Champion for Body-fitness Yulia Zabelina (St.Petersburg),
World Absolute Champion for Fitness Olga Gurieva (Yaroslavl) and just
beginners will participate in the competitions. The youngest athlete
Ilya Aldobaev from Irkutsk who will compete in the category
"Bodybuilding-boys" is 10 years old. The winners of the XXI All-Russia
Championships for Bodybuilding, Fitness and Body-Fitness will defend
Russia at the World Junior Championships and World Veteran
Championship (Poland)and World Men’s Championships (Qatar).
The honor of Ugra at this
All-Russia Championships will be defended by 22 top sportsmen -
prize-winners of the European Championships Radmila Alieva and Anna
Zubrilina and also prize-winners of the All-Russia tournaments Rustam
Gasanagaev, Alexander Safronov, Alina Shamsumukhametova, Yulia Postika,
Anastasia Koryukina. Winners and prize-winners of the Urals Federal
District Championships will be members of the reserve team of the
regional combined team.
The opening ceremony of the
Championships will be held on the second day of the competitions - on
October 25. Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko will participate in
the ceremony. "Holding such a tournament for the first time we tried
to create all comfortable conditions for sportsmen, coaches,
referees, and tried to make their stay in Ugra unforgettable", - said
President of the Fitness and Body-Building Federation of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Kirill Morozov. "Today I can say
with assurance that Khanty-Mansiysk is ready to host the XXI
All-Russia Championships for Bodybuilding, Fitness and Body-Fitness
on a good level".
Organizers prepared a surprise
for spectators: five scooters will be given to the winners of
lotteries by entrance tickets. People from other towns can watch the
competitions on-line with the comment by the repeated champion of
Russia, Absolute European Champion Pavel Kirilenko on the site

"Ugra
is a territory of sport - is the topic of the presentation, held in
Kazan at the First All-Russia Sports Forum". The presentation was
made by Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Alexander
Filipenko.
RF Minister of Sport Vitali
Mutko, FIDE President, head of Kalmykia Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, a great
number of guests from other regions, federal mass media participated
in the ceremony.

Representing the Autonomous
Okrug as a region where over 60 kinds of sport are developed,
Alexander Filipenko said: "Ugra is called the territory of sport and
it deserved that. We have an advanced base for training sportsmen of
all ages - from kindergartens to Olympic tem members and also we are
possessed of a comfortable, well-developed infrastructure for
organizing and holding sports events and trainings for combined teams
of all levels". The head of the region paid attention to the
development of mass sport in the region. He told that 17-18 % of the
regions’ population went in for sport. A great number of competitions,
championships, cups and tournaments, regional competitions by all age
groups are held annually in the region. Only last year our sportsmen
participated in over 400 All-Russia and international competitions
including in the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in China, World
and European championships. Almost 2000 medals were won at the
competitions of various level. In 2008 176 sportsmen of Ugra were
members of the combined teams of Russia in 34 kinds of sport. Governor
made a presentation of sports facilities completed and under
construction in Ugra and said that in October of 2009 the Ice Palace
"ARENA UGRA" was awarded with a high award - became the winner of the
I National contest "Arena" as a model facility of sport and rest.
Vitali Mutko highly assessed the
activities of the government on the sport development in the region.
He said: "Today Ugra is the center not just for Russian sport. Here
the most prestigious competitions of international level are held. I
would like each region of the Russian Federation aspire to achieve
such success in the development of physical culture and sport".

In the frames of the I
All-Russia Forum "Russia - sports country" it was held the working
meeting of the Okrug Governor Alexander Filipenko and Executive
Director of Russia’s Biathletes Union Sergei Kuschenko.
The head of the region told
about the preparation for the Biathlon World Cup Final to be held in
Khanty-Mansiysk in March of 2010 and implementation of events,
connected with organizing the Biathlon World Championships - 2011. He
also said that due to changing conditions for holding competitions of
such a high level, the modernization of the stadium was necessary. At
present the large-scale reconstruction was started in the Nordic Ski
Center which has a license of the IBU "A" category. Commentators’
rooms, northern tribune, offices and technical premises are under
reconstruction.
Sergei Kuschenko promised
assistance from the Russia’s Biathletes Union in the preparation of
coming events and expressed confidence that Khanty-Mansiysk which is
possessed of great experience in organizing such competitions, would
hold the coming competitions on a high level.
