The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

"In Ugra there are all conditions to implement the most risky, perspective ideas in construction, cooperation with famous architects who are within the top ten architects of the world. We had a target and we got it! We could find investors who agreed to invest money into the project and to start its implementation. If not this, the project would be only on paper". - said Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko while the visit to the trade and commercial complex "Vershina" in Surgut.

The   building  is constructed by a Dutch master Eric van Egeraat and the building will be put into operation while the first quarter of 2010. It has unusual external forms, interesting internal design, many-level escalators, subway parking. The most advanced technologies of glazing, lighting, ventilation, conditioning have been applied while the construction, increased requirements of fire safety. The trade and entertainment complex is being constructed at the expense of investments - off-budget means in the amount of 2 billion rubles and the regional Government will support investors  in the form of subsidizing the bank interest rate partially by the credit. 

Another big investment project by Eric van Egeraat jointly with the Ugra institute of construction complex development is being implemented today in Khanty-Mansiysk: the construction of the Chess Club.

On Monday, October 19, Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko visited Langepas and Kogalym - two basic towns of one of the biggest Russian oil companies  - LUKoil. He visited social facilities, discussed with President of the company Vagit Alekperov the issues, connected with the production activities of LUKoil in the Autonomous Okrug, implementation of the agreement on social partnerships, anti-crisis measures, undertaken by the leaders of the company to stabilize the situation on the labor market and to decrease social tension.

After consultations Governor and head of the oil company signed the additional agreement on cooperation and interaction in social and economic development of the Autonomous Okrug and municipalities where the structural branches of LUKoil are working. Based on the agreement, the company will increase its investments into the development of social sphere of the Autonomous Okrug and municipalities by almost a billion rubles.

"The oil company LUKoil is our reliable and old social partner", -emphasized Alexander Filipenko in his comment. "The company actively help  in the development of its basic towns - Langepas, Kogalym, Urai  and Pokachi. Oilmen help much in the construction of socially significant facilities, preparation of sports and cultural events. I think that we were correct when united our efforts and possibilities. Results of joint work directly influence the increased quality of Ugra people’s life".

For example, on the same day in Langepas it was opened the maternity house of the town hospital, equipped with advanced medical equipment. The hockey club "Ugra" got a comfortable bus from oilmen as a present.
