The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
At the XI All-Russia
agribusiness exhibition "Golden autumn-2009" Ugra was represented by
producers of products and State inspection for control over technical
condition of mobile machines and other kinds of equipment and
technique of the Autonomous Okrug.
Ugra had a success: the regional
inspection "Gostechnadzor" got the diploma of the I rank and was
awarded with a gold medal "For the improvement of the work in carrying
out the control over technical state of mobile machines and other
kinds of equipment and technique".

press-service informs:
The
agreement on interaction and cooperation in the implementation of the
project "Social and payment card of Ugra" is expected to be signed by
Governor, Chairman of the Ugra Government Alexander Filipenko and
President, Chairman of the Board of the RF Sberbank German Gref today
in Moscow.
The document states the joint
work to improve the system of the registration and increased quality
of social services provided to population with the application of
the Social and payment card of Ugra. Sberbank is ready to be one of
potential partners and financial consultant under this significant
project which has been implemented in the Autonomous Okrug for several
years already. In experts’ opinion joint efforts of the Ugra
Government and Sberbank of Russia will let the project be on a higher
level and provide the application of the Social and payment card of
Ugra in all spheres, stated by the federal legislation.

Festive events in the frames
of the celebration of the Finno-Ugric Peoples’ relative Days will be
held today in Khanty-Mansiysk.
In organizers’ opinion -
Finno-Ugric cultural center of the Russian Federation, art association
"Kultura", State Museum of Nature and Man and Center of Folk Crafts
and Art, the Action will promote to uniting the relative peoples,
separated by territorial borders, and strengthening of cooperation
among ethnic and cultural institutions of the Khanty-Mansiysk
Autonomous Okrug and Finno-Ugric cultural center of Russia.
On October 14 four exhibitions
will be opened in Khanty-Mansiysk. The presentation of works by the
Hungarian painter-ceramist Svetlana Tot "Tree of Life" where the
mythological ideas of Finno-Ugric peoples while the epoch of III-II
thousand B.C. will be demonstrated.
The International exposition of
children’s art "Will of Ancestors" will be opened at the Center of
Folk Crafts and Art. The opening of photo exhibitions reflecting
culture and life of Finno-Ugric peoples will take place at the hall of
the House of Peoples’ Friendship. "Unity and Difference" - photo
materials from 30 years’ expedition archive of students of the
Estonian Art Academy. "We are and will be" - works by photo
journalists and photo amateurs who took pictures of representatives of
Finno-Ugric peoples of Russia.
Today the Finno-Ugric world
celebrates the Days of Finno-Ugric Peoples annually at the end of the
third week of October. For the first time the events were held on
February 28 of 1928 in Finland at the same time of the Day of
Kalevala. A year later - in Estonia. In 1931 at the IV Congress of
Finno-Ugric Culture it was made a decision about annual celebration of
the Days of relative Finno-Ugric Peoples in Estonia, Finland and
Hungary annually at the end of the third week of October. Then
meetings, cultural events, services in cathedrals took place. While
the war the celebrations were stopped. From 1991 the Foundation "Fenno-Ugria"
initiated the revival of these events. That time Finno-Ugric regions
of the Russian Federation joined the celebrations - concerts,
festivals, exhibitions and friendly meetings.
While the last decade the Days
of relative Finno-Ugric peoples became a symbol of the Finno-Ugric
peoples’ unity, aspiration for mutual enrichment of cultures and
respect of national traditions and customs.
