The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Last Friday in Moscow Governor of Ugra Alexander
Filipenko discussed problems of natural resources effective
management with Minister of Natural Resources Yuri Trutnev.
In opinion of the region’s head, the issue about the
return of past scopes of geological exploration, development of new
fields of hydrocarbons and oil wells, associate petroleum gas
salvaging, transfer to the exploration of deeper horizons are of
current importance. Putting into operation over 20 ths. wells in the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug will give an opportunity to increase
the oil production by almost 10 million tons. There were also raised
problems of small and middle oil-producing companies in this sector
of economy and exploration of the Bazhenov group’s fields.
Having emphasized the expediency of putting into
operation explored fields of the distributed fund into industrial
exploration, Minister of Natural Resources said that he supports
regions in their intention to stabilize natural resources production.
He informed that the Ministry had prepared proposals for subsoil-users
about the exploration of deeper horizons. As for tenders about
explored fields which are not operated now, and there are over 20 such
fields in Ugra, they will be developed in the near future.

Over 720 000 people or 47,6 % of the Ugra population
are expected to be vaccinated against flue.
The most important goal for the near future is the
preparation for the campaign on immunization against the seasonal flue
which will make it possible to prevent after-effects and lethal
incomes from this disease. Vaccines against the seasonal flue
2009-2010 for the immunization of the region’s population will be
financed at the account of different sources.
This year over 300 ths. doses of the vaccine are
expected to be supplied to the region. They will be financed from the
federal budget for the vaccination of the population referring the
“risk group” (children in pre-school facilities, schoolchildren,
medical workers, employees of educational institutions, adults over 60
years). 300 ths. doses of the vaccine will be purchased at the expense
of the regional budget and sent for the immunization of the
population’s groups who are beyond the national priority project in
the sphere of healthcare (unorganized children, disable people,
students of vocational and higher educational institutions and other
people from the “risk group”)/ The vaccine against the flue, purchased
at the expense of the regional budget, has been distributed in the
municipalities.
Besides, about 120 ths. vaccines against flue are
expected to be purchased and financed from the budgets of the
municipalities and enterprises of different forms of the property.

At the traditional All-Russia exhibition “Golden
autumn-2009” which was finished last weekend in Moscow, the fish
products of Ugra were a success and got six awards.
In the contest “Goods of the Year” products of the fish
plant “Severryba” won a silver and a bronze medals. Lyubov Kolesnikova,
an individual entrepreneur from Surgut, won the same awards, Vladimir
Kulik (Beloyarski) and Khanty-Mansiysk fish plant won bronze medals.
Today the contest commission will choose the best gods
of the year in the nominations “meat products” and “milk products”.
Here Ugra will be represented by the agricultural company “Severnoye”
(Surgut) and farm “Bogdashka” (Khanty-Mansiysk District).
