The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The working meeting of Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko with Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Stats-Secretary Anna Popova and Director of the Department of Financial Policy of the RF Finances Ministry Alexei Savatyugin took place last Saturday. Deputy Chairman of the Autonomous Okrug Government for investments and innovations Kirill Morozov and President of the Non-State Pension Foundation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Maxim Filatov also participated in the meeting. Moscow guests participated in the III All-Russia conference "Issues of Non-State Pension Support and Compulsory Pension Insurance" to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk on October 1-2.

In Anna Popova’s opinion the problems of non-state pension foundations further development is of current interest for Russia. The discussion proved that. She highly assessed the level of the conference preparation and preparation of documents which were adopted: "Khanty-Mansiysk has become a traditional place  for the conferences of non-state pension foundations, managing companies, business. The experience is accumulated here, correct ways of further activities are proposed".

The head of the region emphasized that "one of the most important issues in the non-state pension foundations development is to provide people with guarantees of their savings protection by the State. Only in this case the  non-state pension foundations have the future". Alexander Filipenko thinks that it is necessary to study more actively the world experience and apply   in practice the  best examples of successful activities of other countries and regions.

Governor told about social and economic development of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, its role in Russia’s economy, about the strategy of further development. While the talk they raised problems of inter-budgetary relations, regional budget formation, investment policy. Alexander Filipenko said that "The most important goal - providing people of Ugra with a worthy level of life - we implement". He touched criteria of the executive authorities activities efficiency assessment. In his opinion the chief criteria should become "the level of birth rate, mortality rate, life expectancy". All the activities of the public authorities to increase people’ life quality can be assessed by these criteria.
