The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
There have become famous the
names of participants admitted to the internal round of the
All-Russia contest of professional skills of employees in the sphere
of the state youth policy to be held on October 19-24, 2009 in
Krasnoyarsk.
The preliminary stage took place
on August 26 in Khanty-Mansiysk as the contest "The best specialists
in the sphere of the state youth policy”.
Based on the information, got
from the Youth Policy Committee, Ugra will be represented by
Konstantin Ruzhin (Surgut), Yuri Evtekhov (Nizhnevartovsk), Irina
Metelchenko (Surgutski District). Evgenia Ugryumtseva (Nefteyugansk)
and Anna Berman (Langepas).

Yesterday Governor of Ugra
worked in Moscow. He had several meetings at the representative office
of the region in Moscow.
At the meeting with the deputy
of the RF State Duma Leonid Simanovski they discussed the fate of two
draft laws - on the development of small and middle business in oil
industry, about the exploration of the Bazhenov suite of oil fields in
the Autonomous Okrug. These draft laws were made under the task of
Alexander Filipenko and approved by the party "United Russia”,
regional parliaments of several constituent entities of the RF.
L.Simanovski said that the draft law on small and middle oil companies
had been considered in branch committees of the State Duma and is
expected to be discussed at a plenary session.
The meeting resulted in the idea
to hold a meeting in Khanty-Mansiysk in the mid of October with the
participation of representatives of the RF Finances Ministry, Ministry
of Energy, Ministry of Natural Resources, deputies of the State Duma,
members of the Council of Federation, big, middle and small oil
companies and to discuss the draft law once again, its advantages and
disadvantages.

Yesterday at the Council of
Federation Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko held several working
meetings. The talk was about the interaction in the legislative
activities.
The head of the region and
Chair of the Committee for Northern Affairs and Far East Gennadi
Olynik discussed the possible program of the Canadian Senators’ Group
visit to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The visit is expected
on October 15-16.
Ugra and several Canadian
provinces are tied with old cultural and businesslike relations. The
Canadian Embassy in the Russian Federation recommended representatives
of the Canadian legislative assembly to visit the Autonomous Okrug for
experience exchange and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
