The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
Today Governor of Ugra
Alexander Filipenko participated in the joint meeting of the State
Duma and Council of Federation where President of Russia Dmitri
Medvedev made an Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian
Federation.
"Address of President of Russia
to the Federal Assembly is rather meaningful in its contents", - said
in his comment Alexander Filipenko. "It is rather rigid but faithful
in many aspects and at the same time ambitious in goals and tasks. I
agree to the main idea of President - either we modernize our economy
or nothing good is ahead. Modernization is necessary in many spheres
including in building up a civil society, transparent information
space, formation of the political system. Much directly concerns Ugra
as our Autonomous Okrug is a bright fragment of the resource economy.
The theses of the head of the country is an impulse for more active
application of innovational approaches into practical activities of
enterprises of fuel and energy sector. It concerns innovations in
energy saving, process of oil production, associate petroleum gas
salvaging and etc. As far as we have income from the sale of raw
resources, it is necessary to modernize our economy and create its
type, based on innovational approaches. The main component in this
work should be Man with his intellectual potential. We should bring up
a Man of new type, leader, high professional".
