The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Next week Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko is expected to meet with Dr. Ditrich Meller, President of the company "Siemens" in Russia and Central Asia.

The main goal of the visit of the German business delegation is to expand cooperation between the company and enterprises of the Okrug as - implementation of projects of energy saving technologies application in industry and town planning. They will discuss the opportunity of the company’s participation in the regional construction projects and reconstruction of big infrastructure and industrial facilities, equipment deliveries for medical institutions of the region, automation of oil and gas processing and production processes.

Besides, the delegation plans to visit the Priob gas-turbine power energy station. Equipment deliveries for it are one of the biggest projects of the company in Russia.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On November 16 Khanty-Mansiysk will host the XIII Regional research and practical conference "Ways of oil - gas and ore potential realization in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug".

Based on the information of the Okrug Department of Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources, it is expected to consider a wide range of geological, economic, legal, environmental, informational and organizational issues of subsoil management, petroleum and mining industries.

While two days four workshops will work and over 140 reports are expected to be made and discussed which are made by top researchers and specialists of the public authorities, research institutes and companies.

The Advocacy Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug celebrates its 15-th anniversary today. Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko congratulated the professional community of advocates.

"The effective defense of public and private interests is a guarantee of public consensus and sustainability of economic relations in the Okrug and in the country, strengthening of respect of our citizens to the law, trust to institutes of the pubic authority. While 15 years competency, high responsibility of employees of the Advocacy Chamber, their observance of principles of the Law, independence and corporate solidarity promote to economic stability of Ugra, provide the realization of freedom and rights, stated by the Constitution of the Russian Federation".

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On November 22 the trial qualification tournament of the International Championships for computer sport ASUS Autumn Cup 2009 will be held in Ugra. 32 top teams from Russia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Baltic countries will participate in the finale of this biggest competition among CIS countries to be held on November 28 in Moscow.

The organizer of the Ugra competitions  is the regional branch of the Federation of Russia’s computer sport with the support of the Surgut club "Kursor". Prior the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug has not got the right to host such qualification tournaments. Teams of Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk and Tyumen have declared about their participation.  They will compete in the discipline Counter-strike 5x5.
