The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
Today in Khanty-Mansiysk
Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko had e meeting with President of
the Federal Chamber of Advocates Evgeni Semenyako.
The interlocutors discussed
issues of improvement of the Russian and regional legislation
concerning rendering the qualified help by advocates who are not in
the register of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug but involved in advocates’
practice. Evegeni Semenyako told about the decision of the Council of
the federal chamber that advocates who are in the register of a
constituent entity of Russia, cannot work permanently in the other
region. Otherwise they will bear disciplinary responsibility.
Besides, President of the
Federal Chamber gave recommendations how to improve the regional
legislation – free legal help for Ugra people.
Alexander Filipenko said that
these proposals are of current interest and he was ready to consider
them in detail and to support.

Authors of the most
interesting projects in the sphere of culture and art can get a grant
of the Autonomous Okrug Government.
The relevant decree was signed
by Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko.
To get the state support it is
necessary to pass the competition, to win in one of 8 nominations
including “Cultural innovation”, “Professional art of Ugra”, “Youth
initiative”, “Territory of culture”, “The best - for children”, “Art-Ugra”,
“Culture on-line”, “Laboratory of creativity”. The criteria of
projects – reality, social importance of the expected result and
economic efficiency, degree of the project idea and prospects of
further development.
Grants are paid as subsidies to
legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, their number and size is
established annually in each nomination. The amount of the grant per
one recipient cannot exceed 700 ths. rubles.
The document states that the
state grant is paid to preserve, develop and distribute cultural
values in the sphere of art, music, choreography, theatre,
cinematography, museums, libraries, folk art and artistic education.
