The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RF Sergei Ryabkov thanked Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko for the assistance in the preparation and organization of the visit to the Russian Federation of the  UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of Indigenous Peoples James Anaya.

"Based on the words of the Special Rapporteur his visit to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug was very productive and useful and greatly enriched his idea about the situation of the Northern indigenous peoples in Russia", - is said in the letter of the Deputy Minister.

UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of Indigenous Peoples visited the Autonomous Okrug at the beginning of October. The goals of his visit - to have an idea about life and problems of aboriginals.

The winners of the second stage of the Interregional contest of the ethnic and cultural centers of Indigenous Peoples of Siberia, North and Far East have been determined. The winners are centers of national culture of the town Beloyarski and village Russinskiye (Surgut District).

At the end of November performing groups of these institutions will go to Chita to participate in the third stage of the contest to be held in the frames of the Second International Decade of the World Indigenous Peoples, declared by UN General Assembly.

The top presenters of Russia hold the training session in fitness in Khanty-Mansiysk.

After the All-Russia Bodybuilding Championships to have been held recently in the Okrug center, Ugra has become again the capital of fitness. Last weekend the company "Planet Fitness" jointly with the regional federation of fitness and bodybuilding made a presentation of their project - training session. Instructors of fitness clubs made a training course.

While a week the top instructors of the "Planet Fitness"  will make training seminars "Instructor of aqua-aerobics", "Instructor of classical aerobics", "Instructor of step-aerobics", "Instructor of dancing". Theoretical knowledge will be combined with practice: teachers of the Fitness Academy Dmitri Vinogradov, Pavel Fattykhov and Alena Ignatovich will make several master-classes.

After finishing an express-course those who pass the "session" will get certificates, confirmed by the license of the educational center "Fitness Academy". "Now we have the results of what we have been doing for 3,5 years. The All-Russia Championships for Fitness and Bodybuilding, regional fitness conventions and training sessions are not the  limit of our  possibilities", - said President of the Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding Kirill Morozov at the opening ceremony of the session. "We shall continue the active development of them in our Okrug. The prospects are to hold such events in each town of Ugra".
