Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko congratulated the biathlete from Khanty-Mansiysk Svetlana Sleptsova  upon the triumphal victory in Poklujka (Slovenia).

On Saturday Svetlana won in sprint and on Sunday in pursuit. Two golden medals for two days of the competitions! After the victory Svetlana Sleptsova is the third in the World, Biathlon Cup Total Score.

“Everyone who sincerely waited for your victory at the World Cup stages, are admired with your gold double medal, your persistence in achieving the goal”, - said the head of the region. “Your golden medals proved that Ugra coaches school is rather high in the development of Russian biathlon. I am confident that you will compete at the Olympic Games on Vancouver in Sleptsova’s style at the coming competitions of this Season as well. I wish you success, good luck, high speed on skiing courses, precise shooting on the shooting-range! Love and devotion of fans – with you!”
