The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko is  the laureate of the Prize "Results of the Year of Ural and Siberia - 2009" in the nomination "Ideologist of the Year".

The Plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the Urals Federal District  Nikolai Vinnichenko and Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Petr Sumin are also the laureates in this nomination.

Representatives of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra  - Limited Liability Company "Gazprom transgaz Ugorsk" and "RN-Yuganskneftegas", Open joint-stock company "Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk" were awarded with special prizes.

The Nefteyugansk District was awarded with the prize in the nomination "Social Project of the Year" for organizing and holding the Free Wrestling International Tournament for the Mayor’s Cup.

The expert-news channel (Yekaterinburg) "FederalPress" with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the Urals Federal District  has selected leaders of the Urals Federal District in twenty nominations for  four years already.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

The Alberta province delegation visited the Ugra Research Institute of Information Technologies.

The guests got the information about basic avenues of researches at the oil and gas complex. The Canadians were interested in the application of information and satellite technologies in the work. Today the system of satellite data application while mapping of oil fields and remote localities in the region with use of 3D models is well developed at the Institute.

At laboratories the guests were told about unique researches of Ugra scientists which make it possible to observe deeper horizons of the subsurface and to  find unstructured oil deposits.

While the discussion employees of the Ugra Research Institute of Information Technologies demonstrated the potential of telemedicine. By the way, this year its re-engineering will be made to get a new product - asynchronous medical system of tele-consultations "Doctor NET". It integrates two different services - postponed consultations and  on-line services.

Tomorrow the Alberta delegation will have meetings with representatives of the regional departments of healthcare, forestry, investments, science and technologies.
