The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Next year in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra it will be modernized the structure of the regional executive authorities.

The first step was made: the Ministry of Sport and Tourism is being formed. The decree about its creation was signed by Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko to coordinate efforts in the sphere of sport and tourism, what is  important on the eve of the World Chess Olympiad (2010) and Biathlon World Championships (2011).

In his Address to the Duma and people of the Autonomous Okrug the head of the region also said that "ahead - the further improvement of the political system, increase of the role of parties in Ugra development,  in building up the civil society and here  the opinion of each inhabitant of the region is extremely important".

"I would like to thank parties and  movements for constructive cooperation, especially the regional office of the "United Russia" party", - emphasized Alexander Filipenko. "The party group in the Ugra Duma supports and participates jointly with the regional Government in making legislative  decisions  and actively initiates  and implements them".

Tomorrow on December 08 the presentation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Governor of the region Alexander Filipenko will tell representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign states in Moscow about the potential of Ugra in cooperation with foreign partners in the sphere of modernization, innovations and application of new technologies at the regional enterprises.

There were invited representatives of federal authorities, ambassadors of foreign countries in the Russian Federation, representative office of the European Commission in Russia, and also representatives of international organizations in the Russian Federation: UNDP, UNIDO, UNESCO, UNEP, UNICEF, World Bank, EBRD. Delegates of the European Business Assembly, American Chamber of Commerce, Russia-German and Russian - British Chambers of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce "India-CIS", Japanese Business Club, Society of Russia-China Friendship.

In the frames of the Ugra exposition there will be given the information about basic avenues of the activities of  agribusiness and construction companies and companies of banking and financial sector, research organizations. The exhibition-sale of fur clothes, souvenirs will be organized at the Mansion of the Ministry.

The program of the official meeting will be finished by speeches by children’s and national performing groups of Ugra.

90 teams participate in the training round of the Ugra Second Cup of Business Management "Tochka Rosta" which was opened in Ugra.

The participants - representatives of the regional and Russian business such as "Surgutneftegas", "LUKoil-Zapadnaya Sibir", "PH-Yuganskneftegas", "Gasprom pererabotka", "Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk", small and middle business and higher educational institutions, located in the region.

While three weeks they will have to make over 180 managerial decisions. For the best "submersion" of teams to the real conditions of business making, the organizers included the crisis option to the Training  round.  The participants will have to make business under virtual conditions which coincided with the beginning of the world financial crisis 2008-2009.

To participate in the elimination round of the  Ugra Second Cup of Business Management "Tochka Rosta"   to be started on January 19, one should   register his/her team on the project site  www.tochka-rosta.biz till January 15, 2010.
