The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today at the 25-th meeting of the Okrug Duma Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko congratulated deputies of the Autonomous Okrug Duma upon the beginning of the new session.

The head of the region said that this year the activities of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra and deputies would be intensive. Besides planned events for legislation, several innovation projects are expected to be launched . They are caused by the latest events in the country and world community.

Alexander Filipenko noted the active participation of Ugra in rendering the humanitarian support for the people who suffered in South Osetiya. The main thing is to organize normal life there.

Another important direction is the  domestic policy of Russia which will allow to form necessary conditions for sustainable economic and social development of the State. Consequences of the world economy crisis are tangible.

In opinion of the region’s head, the initiative about the formation of the reserve fund in the amount of 5 billion rubles in the Autonomous Okrug budget, was correct. It will insure from possible intension in revenues in 2009-2010 and implement budgetary obligations of the Ugra Government.

Several financial amendments into regional programs will be submitted to the deputies of the Regional Duma to be approved. The draft law about struggle  against corruption

Special attention was paid by Governor to the coming elections to the municipal authorities in the region: "The elections should be effective. Voters should choose the best leaders for our programs to implemented in the future".

In conclusion Governor of Ugra told about the results of sociological researches about measuring fears and troubles of Ugra people. In spite of the labor market expansion, increased number of working places, many people are afraid of loosing their job. In his opinion this topic should be of priority in the Government activities. It is necessary to analyze the situation and determine the measures for people to be more confident into the future.

The Ugra deputies plan to consider 48 items of the agenda which mostly concern the implementation of social projects in Ugra.

The working meeting with Director General of the JSC "RN-Yuganskneftegas" Vladimir Bulba was held by Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko.

While the meeting the interlocutors  discussed  the implementation of the agreement about social partnerships between the JSC "Rosneft" and Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and issues connected with production activities of the oil company in Ugra, its interaction with service enterprises. Vladimir Bulba also informed Governor about plans of the company about activation of associate petroleum gas processing, which is produced on the Autonomous Okrug fields.

The delegation of Ugra participated in the Media Forum of the Urals Federal District "Power, press, civil society: new format of the dialogue", held in Salekhard on September 18.

Over 200 representatives of mass media, public institutions, public authorities of the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen Regions, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, discussed the issues of consolidation of the Russian society around basic values and national interests, fixed in the national policy.

In opinion of plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the Urals Federal District Petr Latyshev, the main goal of the forum was the preparation of specific proposals about improvement of partner relations of all the participants of the civil society.

There were     organized thematic workshops in the frames of the Forum.

The chairperson of the Committee for Information Resources of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra Natalia Maslova interested the colleagues with her report about experience of the implementation of the informatization program   and Regional strategy of information community development at one of the workshops. She shared experience of citizens’ training, getting various e-services by a citizen at home and also informed about created conditions of  daily  access to necessary information on the official site of the public authorities of Ugra and thematic portals.

It is remarkable that while the Media Forum it was noted that the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is the only region where it had been developed the concept of information support for the mega-project "Urals Industrial - Urals Polar". Its provisions will be taken into account while forming the general plan of events for promotion of the federal program.
