The Okrug Governor’s press-service inform:

On September 16 Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko while the meeting of the Expert and Consultative Council for small and middle business development in the Autonomous Okrug determined key vectors of entrepreneurships development in oil- and gas-producing industry.

At the meeting the participants spoke about  the necessity of active participation of small business representatives in the activities with the subsoil together with vertically-integrated corporations. In opinion of the region’s head, it is necessary to create optimal conditions for that, first of all, the differential approach in taxation or exemption  of entrepreneurs in fuel and energy sector from  compulsory taxes except income tax.

In the is important to determine the mechanism of transfer of unprofitable wells for big oil companies. Governor said that it is very important to fix that in the legislation. The process should happen without  the participation of the public authorities and should be transparent and controlled to avoid corruption.

The head of the region called everyone to determine and propose suitable variants of solving the issues under discussion to the public authorities on the regional and federal level. It can be transformed into the legislation. "The proposed measures are of current interest not just for Ugra but also for any other region where fuel and energy sector is the basic branch of industry", - concluded Governor of Ugra.

The official delegation of Ugra will participate in the VII International Investment Forum "Sochi-2008", held in the capital of the Winter Olympiad on September 18-21.

One of the biggest forums in Russia will be attended by representatives of federal legislative and executive authorities, public authorities of the RF constituent entities, Russian and foreign business and research circles, diplomatic and trade missions. This forum is expected to be attended by high-rank people as last year. Chair of Russia’s Government Vladimir Putin, Vice-Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Minister of Regional Development Dmitri Kozak will participate in the forum.

The Autonomous Okrug at the Investment Forum will be represented by Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko, Deputy Chair of the Government for investments and innovations Kirill Morozov, Deputy Chair of the Government, Director of the State Property Department Gadji Amirov, Director of the Department for Investments, Science and Technologies Anton Ladnov, Director of the Department for the Pre-Polar Urals Development Alexander Shpirenko, Director of the Regional Sports School -2 Viktor Maygurov.

On September 19 in the Forum frames Kirill Morozov will make a presentation of investment potential of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. Then there will be presented the projects of sports infrastructure development in Khanty-Mansiysk, regional sector of commercial real estate. After presentations it is expected to sign the agreement on cooperation between the JSC "UgraInvestStroiProject" (the biggest builder of dwelling and commercial  real estate in the region) and JSC "Strata Partners" which  is involved into the entire cycle of services in business-consulting, launching of business -projects and management trainings of the staff.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko intends to participate in the conference "Investment projects of the Russian regions. Competition of infrastructure projects  in Russia, held in the Forum frames on September 20 under chairmanship of Dmitri Kozak.
