The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Peculiarities of the non-state pension support and ways of its further development in Russia were discussed today by participants of the II All-Russia conference, opened today in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko welcomed the participants of the Forum and made a presentation about the experience of the Autonomous Okrug on the development of the alternative system of citizens’ pension savings. It is necessary to develop more dynamically possibilities of the non-state pension support. The legislative initiative is needed for that. Ugra a specific region with young population, modern infrastructure.

At present about 300 ths. pensioners live in the Okrug what is rather great for the population of 1,5 million people. Pensioners need in stable financial support. Today with the support of the Non-State Pension Fund Ugra achieves the scope of the construction of 1,6 million sq.m of housing. "Having created the Non-State Pension Fund in the Autonomous Okrug, we solved two problems: provided pensioners with the guaranteed stable income and created a serious resource about attracting direct investments into the region. Last year the total sum of investments into the fixed capital of Ugra amounted to almost 400 billion rubles and the contribution of the Non-State Pension Fund – 7,5 billion rubles", - said Alexander Filipenko. 

Assessing the All-Russia tendencies of the non-state pension support system  development the Chair of the Council of the National Association of Non-State Pension Funds Konstantin Ugryumov said that annually in our country the number of the non-state pension funds clients and participants increased including legal entities and individuals. The non-state pension support system together with compulsory pension insurance is the most important condition for achieving a worthy level of pensioners’ life in our country.

In Konstantin Ugryumov’s opinion, the State should create economic incentives and tax ones first of all for the well-planned formation  of Russia’s pension system, for the development of pension financial institutes and also real mechanisms of the non-state pension funds programs participants’ rights protection, contributing to attraction of investments into improvement of the non-state pension support infrastructure.

In St.Petersburg the director of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug Office Alexander Efremov had a meeting with 18 veterans of labor – Ugra oilmen who live in St.Petersburg at present.

The meeting was held in the frames of the celebrations devoted to the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers and extraction of the nine billionth  ton of oil in Ugra. Alexander Eremov congratulated them upon the professional holiday and awarded with memorable gifts.

Besides, the tour to the branch of the Museum of World Ocean "Ice-breaker "Krasin" and also a trip over St. Petersburg were organized for the veterans.
