The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On September 10 the participants of the International motor race “AIDS-STOP!” will arrive at Khanty-Mansiysk.

From Novy Urengoi to Sochi, from the Arctic Ocean to the Black Sea  is the route of participants who will visit the biggest towns of Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Moldova. Mass free testing of the population for AIDS will be organized there. Everyone can get   doctors’  consultation.

Rounds tables are held in Ugra in the Action frames with the participation  of representatives of administrations,  institutions, press-conferences for journalists, meetings of lecturers and youth and people who live with this disease. On September 12 the free concert will be organized on the central square of Khanty-Mansiysk with the participation of famous pop-musicians: Vlad Topalov, Yulia Checherina.

In the frames of the  Healthcare priority national project implementation in 2007 the All-Russia motor rally “Stop, AIDS”, devoted to the anti-AIDS campaign, was held over 15 Russian towns from  Moscow to Vladivostok. The Action was a success and made it possible to improve the level of the population’s awareness of the HIV prevention, contributed to the growth of its detectability in Russian regions especially among young people.

In 2008 the Action acquired the status of the international event.
