The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko held working meetings with his deputies Viktor Bets, Gadji Amirov and Acting Director of the Finances Department Nadezhda Boiko, Director of the Department for Economic Policy Lyubov Semeshko.

The issues, connected with the formation of the budget and forecast of the Okrug social and economic development for 2009 were discussed. These documents are expected to be considered in detail at the nearest meeting of the Ugra Government.

The JSC "Surgut GRES-2" in August of 2008 generated the record scope of electric energy.

The public relations unit of the GRES-2 branch   the generation of electric energy in August was the record due to putting into operation a new electric power station of the Open JSC "The fourth generating company of the wholesale market of electric energy".

All 6 energy units worked in August. The plant ratio was 97,4 %. In comparison with the indicators of the last summer month in 2007 the generation of electric energy this August grew by 27,7 %. For 6 months of 2008 the company got over 22 billion kW/h of electric energy.

The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra ranks the first in Russia regarding the generation of electric energy.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On September 03 Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee for preparation and holding the XII International Festival of TV programs and TV films "Golden Drum".

The members of the Organizing Committee informed Governor about the work done. President of the Festival Lyubov Korneeva said that this year 303 works  in 17 nominations had been submitted  to participate in the creative contest by 128 TV companies and studios from 65 towns of Russia including Udmurtia, Komi, Dagestan, Bashkortostan, Khakasiya, Karelia, Tatarstan. The nominations are documentary, history and culture, ethnography and travels, art-video, children’s program. Art groups from Armenia, Byelorussia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Kirgiz submitted their films and programs to participate in the contest.

The Expert Council recommended 110 programs and films to the Festival Jury (70 companies from 18 countries and regions of Russia). The total time-keeping was 3042 minutes or 51 hours. 80 nominees totally are determined to participate in the finale of the creative contest. Laureates of the "Golden Drum Festival" will be awarded on September 25 with statuettes of "Golden Goddess" - the symbol of the Festival and the diploma-winners for the first time this year will be awarded with medals. Lyubov Korneeva said that all the planned events, tasked by Governor of the Autonomous Okrug,  had been implemented. The Festival opening ceremony will take place on September 21 at the best Theatre and Concert Hall of the Ugra capital - "Ugra Classic".

Governor tasked the Organizing Committee members to analyze thoroughly the process of the preparation and to submit him the information in detail about the readiness of all the structures of the Autonomous Okrug Government and institutions on September 15 for this prestigious and large-scale international event.
