The official web-site of the public authorities
of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra participates in the
All-Russia contest "Information transparency of the public authorities", organized by the Commission for Youth Affairs and Sport of the Council
of Federation and Russian Web-Masters’ Union.
For the first time quality and availability of
information on Internet resources of the public authorities will be
assessed by people at All-Russia Internet-voting

The contest is aimed at increasing the efficiency
of interaction of the population and State via web-resources in the
interactive and friendly mode.
146 sites and portals pf the public authorities of
all the levels participate in the contest.

The contest organizers’ opinion is that today
official sites are the most effective mean of dissemination of
faithful information about the activities of the public authorities.
The public authorities tell about their activities on-line and become
more responsible for their work. Due to the official sites the
information about the activities of the public authorities become
available for people what results in increased level of people’s
confidence to the authorities, reduced level of corruption and
improved investment climate.

recognized as the best regional site of the public authorities while
the contest "Public opinion", organized by the Civil Forum of the
Urals Federal District. This year it ranked the first in the rating
"Information transparency among the sites of the public authorities
of the Russian Federation constituent entities", based on the
results of monitoring, held by the Institute of Information Freedom
Development.
