Governor’s Press Service informs:

“President of Russia and Chair of the Government confirmed that the Russian Federation is social state. I am confident that Russia is possessed of all possibilities to create social and economic well-being for its citizens”, - emphasized Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko, commenting on the result of the X Congress of the All-Russia political party “United Russia”. “Many our initiatives about creating and strengthening human capital acquired concrete forms of the national policy here at the Congress”.

Alexander Filipenko said that it was impossible to forget current problems and interests of the fuel and energy sector while developing the Strategy of the country’s development as Yamal and Ugra would play a decisive role in Russia’s development even 20 and 40 years later. Therefore the proposed changes in oil -producing industry are extremely important. First of all it concerns de-bureaucratization of processes, connected with subsoil management, creation of investment, tax conditions for the industry development and for small and middle business to start working in this sphere of economy.

“At the Congress there were reported several strategic initiatives including in the sphere of the budget formation. Now the Government of the Autonomous Okrug will analyze, calculate and make necessary decisions about their implementation”, - emphasized Governor of Ugra.

Yesterday in Moscow Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko had a meeting with Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitali Mutko.

At the meeting there were discussed issues of interaction and cooperation between the Government of the Autonomous Okrug and Ministry in the development of mass physical culture and sport of high achievements in Ugra.

Vitali Mutko assured the head of the region that the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy will render possible support and help to the Government of the Autonomous Okrug in the improvement of sports basis and will actively help while the preparation for holding the World Chess Olympiad in 2010 and Biathlon World Championships in 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk.

In Moscow Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko had a meeting with Chair of the Gazprombank Board Andrei Akimov.

They considered the possibility of cooperation between the Government of the Autonomous Okrug and Gazprombank in the sphere of housing construction. The interlocutors agreed about possible issue of credit resources to the Mortgage Agency of Ugra about credits and loans for the construction of social facilities and further development of transport infrastructure of the Autonomous Okrug.

Governor gave a task to his Deputy Kirill Morozov who also participated in the negotiations, to think over all possible options and spheres of cooperation between the Government of the Autonomous Okrug and Gazprombank for the preparation of the relevant agreement.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko discussed with Director General of the Corporation “Ural Industrial – Ural Polar” Oleg Demchenko the issues, connected with the implementation of this mega-project.

At the meeting the interlocutors also discussed the formation of the authorized capital of the Corporation, transition to practical work at the Pre-Polar Urals on the area of the Autonomous Okrug.
