The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko joined the Council for Disable People’s Affairs at President of Russia. The head of the State Dmitri Medvedev signed the decree about that.

The other members of the Council are  leader of the RF President’s Administration Sergei Naryshkin, assistant of the Russian Federation President (deputy Chair of the Council), Minister for Healthcare Social Development Tatyana Golikova.

The press-service of the Kremlin informed about that.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko congratulated employees of the energy sector upon the professional holiday.

The head of the region said: "Day of Power Engineers is very important for our region as economic security of Russia, its export potential, prospects of the development are determined by labor of our power engineers. High results, stability of the work are caused by   professionalism and responsibility. Veterans deserve great gratitude who participated in the beginning of the development of the regional power engineering".

In the frames of the acting agreements with energy companies for the last 10 years in the region there have been put into operation 10 gas turbine power plants with the total capacity of 189 MWt, 4 plants in the  network complex with transformer capacity 751 MVA and 34 ones in regional distribution networks – their transformer capacity is 2055 MVA. About 562 km of transmission lines were constructed.

It is done to provide the growing necessity in energy consumption of the dynamically-developing region, effective use of our resources, increase of people’s life quality.

Alexander Filipenko thanked employees for honest labor, what promotes to implementation of large-scale projects, for personal contribution of everyone into successful activities of the regional energy system and wished new labor achievements, good prospects, happiness and well-being in each family.

The new winter tourist catalogue was published in Ugra.

The catalogue "New Year and Christmas holidays in Khanty-Mansiysk" includes a calendar of the events to be held in the Ugra capital. The publication  contains information about museums, entertainment centers, restaurants, taxi services, prices for accommodation in hotels.

Specialists of the Okrug Committee for Tourism say that  in wintertime exclusive extreme and active kinds of tourism are especially active. Tourist companies offer programs for guests of the town which includes New Year party,  visiting sights  in Khanty-Mansiysk. Besides, they can become participants of the festive events.
