The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

In Ugra it  was held the contest of projects which promote to preservation and popularization of folklore, traditions and language of the Northern Indigenous Peoples.

56 programs, made by offices of the "Ugra Salvation" public organization in Berezovski and Beloyarski Districts, cities of Nefteyugansk and Surgut and  also communities of the Northern ethnos, individual entrepreneurs competed for Governor’s grants. The most popular nominations are "preservation and development of material culture of the Ob Ugric peoples", "preservation and development of the Indigenous peoples’ folklore, "formation and development of family values, transfer of traditional knowledge".

According to the results of the projects defense,  27 participants became the winners. The grants amount varies from 100 ths. to 1,1 million rubles.
