The Okrug Governor’s
press-service informs:
The practical and research
conference "Issues of intellectual property use and protection in Ugra"
is held in Khanty-Mansiysk on December 18-19.
In opinion of the event
organizers - Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - the
conference will promote to forming the market of intellectual property
, creating mechanisms of the management, discussion and experience
exchange, devoted for issues, connected with its protection.
Representatives of research
institutes from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen Region and
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug will participate in the event.
The program includes the plenary
session, speeches of businessmen, legal and audit organizations. The
training workshop, devoted to applied aspects of the work with
intellectual property, is expected to be held. Its participants will
get certificates of the Russian State Institute.
Intellectual property is
protected by copyright, allied rights, patent law, non-traditional
objects (topology of integral micro-schemes, selection achievements,
know-how) and also means of individualization of goods, works,
services and/or their producers. They are protected in accordance with
the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

Governor of Ugra Alexander Filipenko congratulated the men’s and
women’s combined biathlon teams of Russia with their victory in relay.
"It was really an impressive,
spectacular and emotional event! You shocked your competitors, and
presented a fantastic sports holiday to us. Ugra Fans were especially
pleased with Khanty-Mansiysk biathletes - Nikolai Kruglov and Svetlana
Sleptsova. I wish go forward to the sports glory! I wish the combined
team of Russia good health, happiness, good luck, well-aimed shooting
and quick skiing!", - was written by Governor in the telegram.
On December 14 at the second
stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria) the men’s
combined team (Ivan Cherezov, Maxim Chudov, Maxim Maximov, Nikolai
Kruglov) and women’s team (Svetlana Sleptsova, Albina Akhatova, Olga
Medvedtseva, Ekaterina Yurieva) won gold medals in the relay.
