The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today Governor Alexander Filipenko and Chair of the Duma Vasili Sondykov opened the traditional regional exhibition-fair "Goods of Ugra", devoted to the 78-th anniversary of the Autonomous Okrug.

"I am pleased that the 13-th exhibition is the most representative", - addressed Alexander Filipenko to the participants and guests. He meant that this year the biggest number of enterprises and companies - over 150 ones - have presented their commodities from various branches of economy at the Expo-Center since  the exhibition was founded.

In the opinion of the region’s head it proves that the development of business was in correct direction.

"The main man in the country and in Ugra is a commodity producer", - said Governor . "Without him there is no food to eat, clothes to wear, houses to live in. - All that is created in real sector of economy. It is important that in Ugra much should be done for small and middle business - today it is one of our priorities to develop economy to be sustainable for financial crises like we experience today. In this regard, our Strategy - 2020 as the Russia’s strategy is oriented to the development of alternative economy. For conditions to be comfortable in Ugra for commodity producers, much has been done. It is obvious that it is enough to make progress in this sphere. It is just that Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at the congress of the United Russia Party proposed serious initiatives to help business-community to develop".

In Governor’s opinion it is necessary to prepare production for the moment when today’s crisis is overcome. For that it is necessary to improve the system of relations between authorities and business via legislation. "Only when business is prosperous as well as real production, the social sphere will develop intensively", - said Alexander Filipenko.  He wished successful work and good mood to participants and guests of the exhibition.

Now at the exhibition-fair people taste products, share experience in commerce. The presentations of the Ugra Timber Holding, Koda Les were made, it was held the demonstration of fir clothes models, made by designers from Nizhnevartovsk and Surgut. The program of today includes meetings with bankers, presentations of municipalities, seminar of  bakers, master-class of Nyagan studio of beauty and many other events. Tomorrow the exhibition will be continued.

On December 10-11 Consul General of Germany in Yerkaterinburg  Renate Schimkorait will visit Ugra.

While two days she will get acquainted with the activities of the Ugra State University, Center of Rational Subsoil Management named after V.Shpilman, will  attend the official opening ceremony of the UNESCO Chair at the Ugra State University "Center of Environmental Dynamics and Climate Global Changes", visit Ugra Research Institute of IT, will participate in the round table, devoted to issues of consular service.

The program includes the meeting with Governor of the Autonomous Okrug Alexander Filipenko.

Besides, Renate Schimkorait intends to participate in the Gala events, devoted to the 78-th anniversary of the Day of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug.
