The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today in Ugra the International conference "Policy, oriented to a child: social education of preschool age children" was opened.

The members of the Autonomous Okrug Government, experts of the of the World Bank from Russia, Great Britain, Netherlands, USA, Hungary, Trinidad and Tobago, representatives of the International Associations "Step by Step", "Development Education", of the top higher educational institutions of our country and educational community of Ugra participate in the Conference.

Deputy Chairman of the Ugra Government Alexei Mayorov make a report about the experience of pre-school education development in Ugra and how to improve it. At present studies in kindergartens at senior groups and program of children’s training in the first form are mostly the same. To avoid that it is necessary to re-consider educational programs. The next step of pre-school system modernization will be upgrading of staff. Besides, in the near future the transition to the new system of  payment for employees of pre-school institutions is expected in our region.

 At present in our region there are groups of short-time stay of children, additional training groups and groups of stay on Saturdays.

In the second half of the day and tomorrow the participants of the International conference will discuss issues of educational policy implementation to provide  available and high-quality pre-school education, consider topics of methodical and research support to kindergartens system, efficiency of investments into pre-school education. Experts will demonstrate their experience, get acquainted with practice of foreign colleagues.
