The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today Yugra Governor, Chairman of International association "Northern forum" Alexander Filipenko met with the director of Center of innovative partnerships PR UNO Christoph Nuttall.

Widening of participation of northern regions in the activity of UNO and European Union were discussed there.

Alexander Filipenko stressed that the heads of "Northern Forum" decided to delegate a participant to the international meeting of global associated forms in New-York, in the headquarters of the UNO.

Today meeting of regional coordinators of the International association "Northern Forum" was opened in Khanty-Mansiysk. Representatives of Russia, USA, Canada, Finland, Island, China take part in it.

Committee examines a question about financial support of this non-governmental organization which was called by Alexander Filipenko the "voice of the North, used to introduce common anxieties and problems of settling peoples to public and heads of states".

International festival of modern art and scientific and practical conference "Problems and prospects of development of modern design and art", series of exhibitions and music and choreographic show "Art between the sky and earth" which are held in the frameworks of it, will be organized on September 28-30, 2007, in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Over 450 works of 350 authors, working in different genres: painting, design, decorative and applied art, sculpture and photography are selected to exhibit at the exhibitions.

In the exhibition hall "Yugra-expo" expositions assembling on the are of over 2 ths. square m is carried out to place 4 expositions.
