The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Today Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko met concul of
Kazakhstan Republic in Russia Askhat Nuskatbay.
Problems of business cooperation establishment were
discussed, deputy Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug
on issues of investments and innovations Kirill Morozov and Governor's
Affairs Manager Alexander Gerber, on behalf of Kazakhstan –
representatives of "Sibir" bank directors board.
Governor informed guests about Yugra economy,
prospects of its development, especially in non-rough sector of
economy and n\basic directions of investment policy. He stressed huge
opportunities pf Yuga power engineering and timber complex.

Director general of the JSC "Surgutneftegas"
Vladimir Bogdanov was awarded by order of the President of Russian
Federation Vladimir Putin for distribution in development of oil and
gas complex.
Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko congratulated
Vladimir Bogdanov as well. In telephone conversation he expressed
sincere gratitude to director general, staff, headed by him for
long-term cooperation. Head of the region mentioned that "Surgutneftegas""
provides stability of Okrug economy, makes a real basis for execution
of m\numerous social programs, growth of Yugra peoples’ welfare. He
thanked Vladimir Bogdanov for labour and wished him to realize all
what he has planned in the prospect, luck and happiness.

Today approximately 60 citizens of Khanty-Mansiysk are awarded
for long-term labour and high professionalism in connection with
celebration of 425th anniversary of the Okrug capital.
Head of Khanty-Mansiysk Valery Sudeikin granted the
letters of thanks, diplomas and memorable badges to the masters of
labour and representatives of state authority of the Autonomous Okrug.
He thanked them for labour and efforts which allowed the town to
improve in the social and economic sphere rapidly. Mayer stressed that
owing to coordinated work of people the integrity of company, town,
and society can be kept.
For information, on the eve of Okrug center’s
anniversary celebration Governor of Yugra Alexander Filipenko. Deputy
Governor – head of the chief’s administration of the Autonomous Okrug
Viktor Krivykh and First deputy Chairman of the Government of the
region Vera Dudina were awarded.

On Sunday, September 16, 2007, the XI
International festival of TV programs and TV films "Golden Tambourine"
started its work in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Basic events of the festival will be held this day
at the Central square of Yugra capital. Regional non-commercial fund
of support and development of folk arts and crafts in cooperation with
the "Center of folk arts and crafts", Theatre of puppets and actor "Teremok",
ME "Cultural and entertainment center" will represent extensive
cultural program for participants, guests and citizens of the town. In
the morning national communities from different municipal entities of
the Autonomous Okrug will open Exhibition-fairy "Dary Oseni".
In the "Gorod masterov" those who wished could take
part in master classes on "Potter trade", "Birch processing",
"Weaving", "Making of traditional Khanty toys and puppets" which
are produced by the best masters of applied art of Yugra.
Performance "Wisdom and secrets of Ob land" - joint project of
Maria Voldina (Vagatova), Khanty poet, Deserved employee of culture of
the RF, Laureate of All-Russian premium named after Mamin-Sibiryak,
Laureate in International premium of Kostern, member of Journalists's
Union, member of Writers' Union, Honored citizen of Yugra and Puppets
and Actor theatre "Teremok".
A the end of the day opening ceremony of the XI International
festival of TV programs and TV films "Golden Tambourine" and show
"Sounds of Tambourine" will be held.
