The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
Today regular meeting of interdepartmental
commission on investigation of issues concerning territories of
traditional management was held in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Participants of commission discussed peculiarities of
bowels plots granting coordination for geological examination,
prospecting and hydrocarbon primary products extraction with indigenous
people of traditional nature management territories of the Nefteyugansk
and Surgut Districts.
During the meeting information about draft order of
the Government of the Autonomous Okrug on measures of Okrug law
execution "On territories of traditional nature management of indigenous
small-in-number peoples of the North of regional significance in the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra" was announced as well.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
 On
November 4, festival of reading for children and adults "Knizhkiny
kanikuly" will be opened in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
Event is held in the frameworks of the Russian
Language's Year, announced in Russia, with assistance of Ugra Government
and Okrug Education and Science Department. Organizers of the festival
is non-commercial fund of support of books publishing, education and new
information technologies "Pushkin's library". Fund has been realizing
projects, directed to improve books, reading and libraries' popularity.
"Knizhkiny kanikuly" is aimed to join
youngsters of Ugra to the best examples of modern literal Russian
language. Over 50 thematic events which will be held in schools and
libraries of Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut and Nizhnevartovsk are in the
program of the Festival.
Famous children's writers Andrei Usachyev, Marina
Moskvina, Artur Givargisov, Tamara Krukova will meet with young Ugra
people during the Festival.

Joint project of the Department of environment and
ecological safety of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and TV and
Radio company "Ugra - ecological enlightening program "Ecovzglyad" (compere
is Konstantin Sapunov) was the laureate of the contest "National
ecological premium - 2007".
Premium was founded by Non-governmental ecological
fund named after Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky and Committee on ecology
of the State Duma of the RF to reveal and stimulate the most efficient
developments in the sphere of energy and resources saving technologies
and net production. Besides, National ecological premium promotes
scientists, specialists, companies and international publicity's
attention attraction to modern ecological problems, exchange of
experience and participation of the civilized business in solving of
problems of sustainable development of world society.
Winners were awarded last week in the complex of
Savior Christ' Temple in Moscow. Lauretes of the contest were awarded
statuette, certificate and monetary prize.
