The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
 Today
a meeting of townsmen and Ugra peoples arrived from other municipal
entities of the Autonomous Okrug aimed to support President of Russia
Vladimir Putin, was held at the central square of Khanty-Mansiysk.
 People
participating in it told about personal role of the country leader,
owing to his heading Russia is surmounting the crisis of the 90s, it has
got respect of citizens and world society. Hundreds of people have
signed the appeal to the President in which it is written:
"We, people of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous - Ugra,
express support to the aims and objectives which are realized by you on
the post of President of Russia. Approximately 8 years You are leading a
huge state. For this time Russian Federation has become another country
- powerful and united.
You could unite absolute majority of Russian people,
You have become a real leader of nation.
We support Your course aimed to accelerate social and
economic development of the country and to make civil society. On Your
initiative and support Public Chamber has been organized in Russia for
the first time. We observe real positive changes which are made in Ugra.
Owing to realization of balanced state policy new hospitals, schools and
kindergartens are erected. Construction of available social housing has
started, wages and pensions increase regularly, level of social
protection of Ugra people has improved.
 We
support foreign policy course of out state as well. Today Russia is an
equal member of world political processes, it actively defends its
geopolitical interests.
We speak in support of Your constructive policy will
be continued, and Putin's Plan will be completely realized.
At the meeting it was decided to organize public
movement to support Vladimir Putin.

Today winners of the contest to receive Ugra
Governor's grants in the sphere of in-bound tourism development and
satellite infrastructure were awarded in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous
Okrug.
Deputy Chairman of Ugra Government Gadzhi Amirov
and and head of the Okrug Tourism Committee Valery Bespoyasko
awarded the winners.
Deputy Chairman of the
Government expressed a certainty that grants have found worthy
receivers and wished success in realization if interesting projects
which should assist in becoming, development and perfection of entry
tourism industry, rest, service and satellite infrastructure in the
Autonomous Okrug.
Finishing the ceremony Valery Bespoyasko
congratulated the grant receivers and invited all representatives of
tourism sphere and satellite branches of the Autonomous Okrug to
participate in the exhibition "Ugratour" and contest to get grant
support of the regional head in the next year.

In Surgut it was held a meeting of three Okrug
departments of All-Russian public organizations - organization of
veterans "Boevoe bratstvo", Union of Afghanistan veterans and invalids
of war in Afghanistan at which their participation in coming elections
campaigns was discussed.
In the adopted order it is written: "Russia is on the
threshold of the most important events - elections to State Duma and
elections of the RF President. Citizens are to elect deputies and a Head
of state and express their attitude to social-economic and political
course of the Russian President, which has been realizing since 2000.
Every person, interested in the fate of our country must do his best to
continue policy of the acting Russian President".
It was decided to address the electors, parties,
public associations, mass media to support Putin's plan and course at
the elections of State Duma, to fulfill one's civil trust on December 2.
