The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
 Realization
of the "fifths national" project "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polyarny"
was discussed by heads of the regions of the Ural Federal district,
scientists, representatives of large business and public organizations
at the meeting which was held by Chairman of State Duma and "Edinaya
Rossia" party Boris Gryslov in Tyumen on October 23.
 He
mentioned that the largest Pre-Polar project in postsoviet times,
capital intensity of which is approximately 550 billion rubles,
supported by the Russian President V.Putin, which has become political
for members of "Edinaia Rossia" (United Russia), received support of
the federal government at the summer economic summit in St.Petersburg.
In the town on the Neva it was announced that it appropriates 6
billion rubles for the first stage
 of
Pre-Polar riches development.

Filipenko reported that Government of the Autonomous Okrug has took
the initiative because the project "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polyarny"
plays the most important role in diversification of regional economy,
growth rate of which in oil sector are almost exhausted.
 For
the last year Ugra researchers have got good results as follows:
perspective territories with stocks of ferrous and non-ferrous metals,
rare-earth metals, precious metals and other minerals are revealed,
extensive levels of its deposits are discovered. It significantly
enlarged knowledge about Pre-Polar bowels. It proves that estimation
of natural potential, used in Conception of complex industrial
development of Pre-Polar Ural in Ugra part. Therefore it is necessary
to activate financing of state and private investors of the first
stage of the project, Government of the Russian Federation must make a
few decisions for it.
Alexander Filipenko announced the main problem
among among the listed problems: on the level of the Russian
Government it is important to work out principles and mechanisms of
works financing in the frameworks of the project "Ural promyshlenny -
Ural Polyarny" , including the members of the Federation. Today these
problems are not put in order, and Ugra powers, investing huge
internal funds to exploration works, are venturing.
In the finishing speech Boris Gryslov mentioned
that he will write censorious remarks and offerings, announced at the
meeting, in the special note to the President of the country V.Putin.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
 Governor,
Chairman of Ugra Government Alexander Filipenko took part in signing
of Trilateral agreement between the Government and association of
employers and trade unions of the Autonomous Okrug on lower
living wages in Khanty-Mansiysk.
 Legal
document stipulates increasing of lower limit size of living wages to
6300 rubles since January 2008 on the territory of the Autonomous
Okrug.
Governor of the Autonomous Okrug stressed the
necessity of wages legalization.
Issues of market development in the Autonomous
Okrug will be observed at the IV annual Okrug conference of producers
and businessmen of Ugra which started today its work in
Khanty-Mansiysk.

Deputies of "Edinaya Rossia" (United Russia)
faction in the Duma of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra
supported the Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko's initiative on social
support of citizens with minimum wage.
Lawmakers adopted Order on
mandates of electors according to which 1000 rubles lump sum will be
paid to the pensioners and families with many children, receiving
addressed social benefit. Thus, in November - December citizens of the
Okrug with low incomes will receive 1600 rubles including the
Governor's payment (600 r.).
For information, since January 1, 2008, minimum
wage in Ugra will be adopted in the size of 6300 rubles. All
above-mentioned measures are used to oppose to fall rise in food
products prices.
