The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today in Moscow Ugra Governor Alexander Filipenko and Chairman of board of the JSC "Gazprom" Aleksei Miller signed an Agreement on cooperation between the Government of the Autonomous Okrug and joint company.

Document provides for interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation in realization of socially significant projects for 2007-2011. Reliable provision of populated localities, Ugra enterprise with liquid hydrocarbon gas, agreed price policy, activization of investment activity are the sphere of its realization.

In particular, joint company will consider offerings of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug on participation in realization of the project "Ural promyshlenny - Ural Polarny", development and realization of the joint program on usage of natural gas as a motor fuel. "Gazprom" will take all necessary measures on provision of highest possible extraction and processing of associated petroleum gas at its branch oil-processing establishments.

On its part Ugra Government purposes to render the "Gazprom" enterprises active assistance in expansion of productive activity on the territory of the Autonomous Okrug in the frameworks of the acting legislation.

Parts intent to carry out actions, directed to increase taxable basis in the Autonomous Okrug in cooperation, to attract extra expenses to the budget of the Autonomous Okrug. In the future "Gazprom" plans to carry out financial support of social and transport infrastructure objects construction of the Autonomous Okrug, development of physical culture and sport, realization of large scale projects in the sphere of culture.

5 hypermarkets will be constructed in Ugra by 2010.

Investment project on construction of large retail trade objects system will be realized in the frameworsk of triliteral Agreemnet on cooperation which was signed at the first day of the IV International investment forum "Ugra-2007" among the Government of the Autonomous Okrug, commercial company "Finstar Management (Oversis) Ltd. and JSC "Baltiyskaya stroitelnaya kompania - 41". Investment size of the project is estimated in the sum of 4 billion rubles.

In the frameworks of the Agreement on cooperation between the Ugra Government and JSC "Zavod ELKAP" which was signed at the Forum as well, advanced technology cement plant will be constructed in Surgut with the capacity of 375 ths. tons per year. In the I quarter of 2009 it is planned to put the object into operation. Cost of construction is over 4.5 billion rubles. Director general of "Zavod ELKAP" Andrei Kopaigora stressed that this new production allows to satisfy partially Okrug's needs in qualitative cement, and the price will be lower than at the market, it will influence on price reducing of housing square meter.

Besides, Ugra Government concluded two agreements during the forum: trilateral agreement with Hatch Eurasia and NP "Sovet po natsionalnoi konkurentosposobnosti"; bilateral agreement with the JSC "Gruppa kompaniy "Energoeffektivnye tekhnologii".

Kirill Morozov specially stressed that investment policy of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug is directed to solve two main objectives: to support investment attraction to Ugra and to form conditions for keeping of capital which is made on the territory of the region.

For information, today in the frameworks of the forum sections meetings at which issues of investments attraction to housing construction and construction industry, timber processing industry, oil chemistry, gas processing, energetics, tourism, healthcare will be observed. Space bridge among the representatives of business circles of Ugra and Germany will be held as well.
