The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
On October 17-18 the IV International investment
forum "Yugra-2007" will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko will report on
the theme "Investments to economy as a basis of social and economic
development of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug" at the opening of
the forum. First deputy plenipotentiary representative of the RF
President in the Ural Federal district Viktor Basargin, member of the
Council of Federation Aleksei Lysyakov will report there as well.
Total volume of state support comprises
participation of budgetary investments in the authorized capitals,
banking interest rates compensation, subventions and privileges
granting, which will be carried out in 2007-2011, is close to 6
billion rubles.
For information, Autonomous Okrug takes the second
position regarding the volume of investments among the members of the
RF. Last year this index accounted for 305 billion rubles. For 6
months of the current year the volumes growth of investments to the
key assets made 12%. Besides, Yugra, taking the second position
together with St.Petersburg, is among three top leaders regarding the
investment attractiveness in accordance with the credit rating which
is defined by International agency Standard&Poorۥs.

On October 19-21 interregional practical seminar
"Basic directions of ethnic and cultural development of the region".
Representatives of regional bodies of
self-government and executive bodies of public authorities of the
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, heads of national and public
associations, scientists will participate in the event. In the
frameworks of the program issues of spiritual and moral culture
development as a condition of society stability will be discussed,
experience of system formation of ethnic and cultural development of
the municipal entity by the example of Surgut will be represent.
It is planned to hold round table "Role of public
associations and national and cultural centers in formation of
spiritual and moral culture foundations in multiethnic society" and
presentation of regional public associations "Rusich" and "Druzhba" as
well.

Issues of further development of children’s
creative work on the territory of Yugra were discussed at the meeting
on October 13, by Governor Alexander Filipenko and honored artist
Alexander Filipenko, who had come to Khanty-Mansiysk to represent
plays, based on Russian writers’ works, again.

On October 12 Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko
met with the chairman of Culture Committee of State Duma of the
Federal Assembly, honored artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon.
They discussed issues of further development of art
and culture in the Autonomous Okrug.

The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:
 Athletes
of Yugra team got silver and bronze medals at the 19th Open
body-building, fitness and body-fitness Championship (6th Eastern
Europe Championship).
Competitions were held in Bryansk. 38 teams
participated in the All-Russian competition. Two of six sportsmen of
our team got higher awards. Radmila Alieva from Langepas got silver
medal of the Championship in the category "Body-fitness juniors",
Rustam Gasanagaev (Pokachi), competed in the category "Body-building -
men till 85 kg" was awarded bronze medal.
Other representatives of men team - Andrei Maksimov
from Surgut, Alexander Eryemenko and Nikolai Minin took the six
positions in their weight categories. Yekaterina Parashchevina from
Pokachi, competed as Radmila Alieva in the category "Body-fitness
juniors", took the fifth position.
At present members of the Okrug team are preparing
form competitions at the Open Yugra Championship which will be held on
October 20 in Surgut.
