The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Today a regular meeting of the Municipal entities heads' Council under the chairmanship of Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko was held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Head of the region analyzed social and economic situation in detail.

Economy. Talking about the results of the current year Alexander Filipenko stressed that in total planned programs of social development in the Okrug are successfully realized, growth is observed regarding several positions. Further way of efficiency improving and as a result life quality of Yugra people is in the economy diversification, innovative directions development, strengthening of investment policy.

Regarding investment attractiveness Yugra takes the third position after two capitals. Last year approximately 300 billion rubles were received by Okrug economy, this year growth of investment taking made 12%. Positively estimating investment policy of the Okrug and regional powers Alexander Filipenko paid attention to the fact that the most part of these means is used to develop oil and gas sector.

On efficient using of budgetary means. Answering the application of some heads about rendering financial assistance from the Okrug budget, for instance to compensate for construction documents preparation, the Governor said that today remains of unused means at the municipal entities' accounts amount to 13 billion rubles. Head of the region said that volumes of financial support will be reconsidered - unused means will be spent by those who can use it successfully.

On measures of growth counteraction of food products prices. Governor stressed that growth of retail prices in the municipalities had been made irregularly, though "rules of the game" of wholesale and retail trade are clearly defined be federal and Okrug legislation. Negative consequences of appreciation of food products for townsmen with low incomes must by indemnified by social support, said Governor.

On elections campaign. Forthcoming elections of deputies of State Duma and coming elections of the President define the further way of Russia - if it will be progressively developed, continue the current social course a or destabilization process will be continued as it had been during the years of parliament and president power opposition.

Meeting of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug under the chairmanship of Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko is held in Khanty-Mansiysk

Draft about creation of territorial resource management system , providing development of land market and real estate in the Autonomous Okrug for 2008-2011 was firstly adopted. The document was developed in connection with changes in the federal legislation. Basic objectives are as follows: creation of the common system of state cadastral register, information content of real estate cadastre, conducting of estimation of real estate objects, formation of mechanism of cadastre information resources access. 

Members of the Government observed and adopted draft "On state social assistance to the Yugra population" which comprised the standards of the Okrug law "On addressed social assistance" and was called according to the same federal law.

Program "On social and economic development of indigenous small-in-number peoples of the North in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra for 2008-2012" was observed. It is a continuation of the same program which will be finished in the current year. By new document principles of self-production, complex development of traditional branches of management, keeping of original environment are on the basis of stable development of indigenous peoples.

Regular meeting of Interdepartmental Commission on Counteraction to the Drug Abuse & Drug Illegal Circulation of the Yugra Government was held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Representatives of the Okrug Committee of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy, Education and Science Department reported about executed work and measures on prevention of drug abuse in the Autonomous Okrug.

42 social institutions for youth, including over 20 which are directed to work with young family - to consult in social and economic problems solving, operated on Yugra territory.
