The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

On October 10 Okrug meeting at which peculiarities of holding of Family’s year in Russia will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko, first deputy Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug on issues of social policy Natalia Zapadnova, deputy plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District Viktor Basargin, representatives of the steering committee on holding of Family’s year in Russia, Ministry of education and science of the RF, subjects of the UrFD will participate in the work of the meeting.

In the frameworks of the meeting presentation of the institutions of population’s social defense of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, "round table", devoted to the peculiarities of family’s social welfare formation.

Participants of the meeting will discuss issues of efficiency of state family and demographic policy realization, priority of legal activity, concerning family support, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood, observe plans of events regarding Family’s year holding in the Russian Federation, UrFD, Autonomous Okrug.

For in formation, the current year is announced as a Family’s year in Russia on the basis of the appropriate Order of the RF President.

Commission, selecting Yugra writers’ works for the annual Governor’s premium in the sphere of literature for 2007 has defined the candidates.

Authors’ four books series "Talk with me. Boom for Nenets student and for one who wants to listen to the Nenets spirit" by Yury Vella and book about Siberia history "Story about Surgut" by Oleg Rikhter were nominated to get the premium in the "Prose" nomination.

Sergei Smetanin with his collection "Private life" and Dmitry Mizgulin with his "Selected works" were the competitors for the nomination "Poetry".

Totally 10 authors took part in the contest.

Winners will be awarded on December 10 at the festive events, devoted to the day of education of the Autonomous Okrug.
