The Okrug Governor’s press-service informs:

Yugra Governor Alexander Filipenko held a meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Autonomous Okrug.

In particular, results of the first stage of the Okrug program of economic and social development of Yugra for 2005-2010 were discussed. First deputy director of the Economic policy Department Pavel Sidorov mentioned that basic objectives of the first stage (2005-2006) were as follows: to carry out measures on development of legal basis, budgetary policy, development of small entrepreneurship in the basis sector and services sector, development of state corporative relations. It was stressed that 12 of 32 planned events had been completely executed. Thus, concept of external economic relations of the Okrug, Okrug program of tourism development in Yugra, information system of vacant working places on the regional labour market had not been developed. Governor ordered to complete the document during the week and represent detailed information concerning several directions, explaining the reasons of non-execution of measures by one or another department.

During discussion of basic measures plan of the executive bodies of Yugra for 2008-2010 it was planed to include the V World congress of Finno-Ugrian peoples, which will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk next year, in it. Approximately 300 delegates, representing over 20 Finn-Ugrian peoples will participate in it.

On results of questions discussion, concerning financing of departmental purpose-oriented programs of Information Policy Department (“Information provision of activity of the Governor and Government of Yugra in mass media of the Autonomous Okrug in 2007-2009”, “Development of multi-national philology of Yugra for 2008-2010” and development of purpose-oriented program “Timber complex development” for 2008-2010, Alexander Filipenko ordered that profile departments are to define and offer suitable financing resources for the Government consideration in short terms.
